Again, there don't appear to be many options for exploration again this time. Of course, if anyone thinks otherwise and wants me to post a poll, I shall do.

The southern chariot is currently sentryed in Reneaux and should continue on its previous course (NNE via unrevealed terrains) as soon as it's decided it can leave.

The southern legion is still near Bombay. It has discovered what could be an island, and I expect that is where we'll find the Indians. I doubt there is much of this island left here.

The northern legion and chariot are both near Uppsala and I think they should continue to explore the peninsula together.

I don't think there is much of this island left to explore, so perhaps we should start thinking about where to place our units when the island has been revealed. I'd like to see them packed into boats and sent off to discover new lands. I know that mapmaking isn't currently a priority, but when we have writing perhaps one or two of the coastal towns could build dips with the hope of bribing an enemy boat?

The exploration is clear like you said.
The chariot will remain in Reneaux until the phalanx is ready, barbs seem to able to notice whenever a city isn't defended and I don't want to risk losing the city.

Great idea for bribing a boat Jayne! :goodjob:

As long as we can get our hands on a barb boat then we can save loads of cash. It would appear that the other civs' capitals are quite close to our continent, although we don't yet know whether Uppsala is on our land or not yet. I'd be surprised if the land curved round to include both other civs as we'd surely have seen exploring troops by now, but maybe they've been fighting one another and haven't had the resources to explore. :)

If we want to keep the chariot in Reneaux, have we considered sending the northern chariot back to explore the lands northeast of Dellham?

I think that the peninsula is probably pretty small, so the legion could finish exploring it itself.

Alternatively, the northern chariot could head south west and help the other legion out. :)

Good idea - we don't really need all three up there and the chariot will be able to return quicker than the other two if we discover a ruck. :)
I agree that we should ensure we know all our continent and then we might think about piling up some troops in the 4-special site you mentioned in the other thread to invade whoever is on the other side of the sea. Now that we know roughly whereabouts the AI are then we should be aware of the danger of enemy landings to attack Elysium. It would be disastrous to lose the SSC, even for a couple of turns.

I thought the Chariot in Reneaux was going to meander North and East, to finish exploring. It could depart soon, particularly if we IPRB $8 Warrior each time we build a Phalanx. In Reneax for sure, to release the Chariot and get the jump on building a Settler.

The northern chariot could come back past Dellham. I suppose we only really need all the units up there in case we find Uppsala.

How about this: Northern Legion moves first. Northern Chariot to return near Dellham, but on max speed path to River to Elysium, due South all the way. Southern Legion into the Mountains.

Chariot guarding newest Pure Green City to break camp, head up to the black, and eventually the NE black shore. And people in that city contribute $8 IPRB=10 to hurry their Phalanx guard.

Actually, I'd like to recall many troops to quell unhappiness...
