Peck of Arabia
Sociable Recluse
Yep, most of the ones I use have already been posted, although I now plan to use "full as a howitzer" in the very near future...
MobBoss was 8 when he started drinking, thats no excuse
Masque, press Alt-Gr and e to get the accent.
Comme ca, é!
Dizzy - Buzzed
Slang words for drunk:
- mucuses (probably the most common) "muci" -> read something like "mooch"
- mucusified "mucificat" -> read something like "moo-chi-fee-cat"
- a little in a good mood "putin binedispus" -> read something like "poo-tsin bee-ne-dis-poos"
- terminated "terminat" (stress on the bolded A)
- penis (yes, you can say "I was <vulgar word for penis>", and most people would understand you mean you were really, really drunk) "pula" -> read "poo-la"
- very fainted (no, it doesn't only apply when you actually pass out) this one is more complicated, can't really put it without a context
- made cabbage (as in "I/you/them/etc was/were made cabbage", can also mean beaten up seriously or extremely tired) "facut varza" -> read something like "fah-koot var-za"
Those are the most common ones.
I do not have an alt-Gr key on my keyboard![]()
Can you press Alt+130 on the number pad? Like so: é.
I do not have a number padfreaking laptop. And alt-130 doesn't work without it.
I've tried a lot of things, trust me. But the only thing that worked was to have this app simulating a French keyboard, and that was not worth the trouble.
Also, if someone is really drunk, you can say "drunk dead" (beat mort). "Beat" is read nothing like the English "beat" though, it's read with a short e like in "bed" followed by a clear a like in "argue" in only one syllable.
Some people even write songs about that (the Drunkness song, really really funny, too bad you can't understand the lyrics)
Can't you just copy and past from our posts, then?
I know, all that just to better express that one is drunk.
Vas t'enculer des mouches.I will NOT get my accented e from English-speaking natives.
