Extra Units

Hello.
I am pretty new to modding/editing (I wouldn't call it modding, I am just editing stuff )
It all started with me turning the Napoleonic Europe scenario into a WWII one.
I stole a lot of units from the "WWII In The Pacific" scenario by copy-pasting their art and pedialcons files.
I'm really satisfied with how things worked out at the end, but I really want to get more into this editing stuff.
I also noticed that there are a lot of unit icons in the editor that are just... There...
I really want to use them but I think I need their art files.
So, I am hereby asking, how am I supposed to add these icons as units to the game?
(Pedialcons, Art files and Icons)

Thank you very much. In the tutorial you have put here, the writer says that Zulu has a good tutorial for the "units_32" usage. I wasn't able to find it. Does anyone know where to find that?
