I was wondering what happened to Tom since Computer Gaming World (aka Games for Windows) shut down. The best part was a feature where every month he and a guy named Bruce played a game and made comments like the ones here. For unknown reasons I always seemed to root for Tom. I get the idea that he is a little bit more savvy than he lets on, but plays the part of 'everyman' when he reports on his game experiences.

I'm not sure I would call this a Review, they even call it a Game Diary themselves. Which I guess is a correct term. Could also be called an AAR (though those are probably more detailed), or a game story (but those are with more fluff speak).

But I like game diaries more than a usual review.
