Just started playing FF(?) FFHFF(?) FFHFurther for the first time, so I thought I'd give my first impressions feedback.
No technical problems with installing or playing so far, thank's Warkirby for your unofficial patch
Loving it, so much new stuff to discover, feeling like a FFH virgin again, or if you like, as someone branching out after years of missionary position. Playing on large tectonics, 30% with normal speed and I have the feeling the exploration phase of the game is a wee bit longer than in the original FFH, I like that.
Great person popups are sweet.
I started with the undead civ, who's name eludes me at the moment, with the non agnostic female leader. Great mechanics, although I haven't found out yet what exactly produces the random settlers for them. Is the percentage in the upper left the %chance per turn for one to pop? From the description I guess it depends on luxury and health ressources but even after reading in the wiki I am not exactly sure how to influence my "growth".
After hours of play, and many restarts, I finally settled for a three city starting empire with a capitol focusing on production so I can manually produce the settlers. But perhaps I am better of to rush headless troops and charge into my Lanun neighbor to "convince" him to join my empire. He seems to have a lot of warriors there and i have bronze and the undead phalanx troops, not so many though but it might work...
Well I am loving it, it's cocaine in a can, baby. Crack made from crack.
