Yeah, their technical support forum is getting new posts every minute. People seem to have tons of problems, mainly with the game crashing and hanging at random. Nice going Bethesda

not this again, stalker clear sky was the last game i bought and was buggy like hell, oblivion had a poopload of bugs and now this. Can't they make a relatively bugfree game every once and a while?

They can.
It usually takes three months after the game is released.

Well, I said it's unlikely I'll buy the game but the rewievs have been so euphoric that I might reconsider when I have enought time on my hands (and I know Fallout 3 would consume a lot of time).
Even then I am no I way going to buy the German version. I don't really mind that they cut down on the violence, but I will not suffer the lackluster translation.

Pretty much, its good ya, its great, but it still has a lot of the stupid crap that oblivion had that I hated, the NPCs are freaking robots, the animations still suck horribly and the inventory system still sucks hard for the PC. Other than that they did a great job, oh and VATS is making things way to easy rite now, but that could just be in the early game. I'm not that far, as I haven't much time to play, the opening stuff to is pretty neat, but I don't want to spoil anything.

Looks like it will be a great game to buy if:
they released a CS
the game was patched at least once
so like I said on the official forms - I will wait until that.

Woohoo my copy just arrived

There's no better first impression than inserting the disc and getting an error right away. Quick Google search fixed that but still..

I think it's great! But then again I liked Oblivion and I like guns.

I especially like the VATS and the slow motion head shots! I thought I'd be disappointed by the size of the map but I find that it's about the right size as it at least looks massive on the surface.

Seconded. The game crashes a lot for me, but turning the graphics down and installing new drivers seems to have helped.

Pretty much everything is as good or better than it was in Oblivion. The repair system is quite clever, and being over-encumbered isn't as bad as it used to be. I don't want to say too much in case it spoils it for some people.

Oh, and those damn super mutants ...

I do not mind spoilers! It would be great if someone (especially a fan of FO1 and FO2) gave a detailed review of the game, even if it had to be put in spoilers. A lot of old fans of the series cannot yet decide weather to invest in the game or not.

I was close to geting the game today. But my brother said he'll buy a new processor since mine is a relatively old one. So i'll wait another month or so. I would've writen a review.
