Fallout 3

Are you planning on getting Fallout 3 in October?
I think it looks pretty sweet.
I'll have to get a new computer to play it

I was curious about how many people were going to get the game so I did some research. I questioned ten people and asked them if they were going to play Fallout 3 and 94% indicated that they were going to play.

10 is not an acceptable amount for a decent survey. Also I don't understand how you got 94% out of 10 people.

I have the Fallout Collection for the PC (Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics) and I have played the first game for quite a while (stopped because of a bug). I'll probably get Fallout 3 but for the 360, as my PC probably won't run it at all.

Yeah, I hope Bethesda has hired someone who can optimize the game, Oblivion still chugs at times while Crysis sails past (both on highest graphics availiable to XP, and with the Natural Mod for Crysis).

Definitely (unless it gets really bad reviews or something) All I want is Elder Scrolls like game set somewhere that isn't a fantasy world, and this qualifies.

But far better than Oblivion. Oblivion, while I liked it, had rather creepy NPCs.

I plan on getting it, but for PS3. As my computer stands no chance probably. And 94% cracked me up. I surveyed 2 people and 87.9% said I was right.

Bethesda has a, eh... reputation concerning optimization. At least Oblivion runs smoother than Morrowind.

As to whether I'll play Fallout 3, it depends if my brother is going to buy it (which seems quite probable). After Oblivion I have no desire to buy it myself but if I get to try it for free I'll give it a chance.

I will buy Fallout 3 on the day it comes out. I'm usually behind the curve on games because my kids always need stuff & I can't justify blowing money on a new game when I can buy used ones. A game like this is the exception though, I must have it.

I just updated my PC to hi hell pretty much specifically for fallout 3(and some of the more crazy oblivion mods) but yes, Bethesda has always had serious issues with optimization. Hence the very low settings mode for oblivion, have you guys seen that

Are you smoking crack? Morrowind ran on a comptuer that can barely (and unacceptably) run Rome Total War! That comptuer can't even run Call of Duty 1.

Morrowind was released in 2002, Rome: Total War in 2004. It OUGHT to run on a computer that can handle a game that comes out two years later.

Can't afford the rig, I'm pretty low on cash currently......and you just made the pain worse from reminding about the HUGE mod community that's gonna spring out....
