The definition of Fanboy is someone who is utterly devoted to a subject or hobbie to the point of obsession, often times used in a derogotory manner. Fanboys often find it necessary to defend the object of their affection against real or perceived attacks. They also take very seriously comparisions with competition. Even rational arguments and valid critique of the subject is often met with emotional attacks, affirming the subject's superiority. I actually admit that i'm a Final Fantasy VII Fanboy.

I'm an Operation Flashpoint fanboy. But only because it is the greatest game ever.

I wouldn't say I'm a fanboy of anything, there are games I like, but wouldn't go so far as to call them the greatest game ever made, ever, because that is just silly.

I fully agree. To be so defensive over a game is rather alarming. Obviously we all have our preferences - i fully admit to loving the paradox games and will defend them, but I fully accept the criticism's from my friends.

Point is, no game is perfect, everyone has their own favourites and there will always be a better game - if not now then in the future.
