It's a mystery to me... I've looked at it from three different computers and two of them don't show the gradient lines, the third shows them quite clearly. I'll have to experiment more with that.

As I said, gradiant only shows up on 16 bit colors. 32 bit colors is smooth. 40J what program u using?

That does seem to be the case and would explain it. I'm using Photoshop (possibly the best graphics app ever created...) ver 6.0.
