I love the Gaians and it has nothing to do with me having a green thumb for Lady Deidre.

The Morganites are weak in the beginning of games, but allowed to build up and they will dominate because they can just totally make more money than everyone else and literally buy victory.

The Pirates are great too!

It all depends what kind of game I want to play. If I'm doing warmonger, the Spartans. For a peaceful game the Gaians. However, if I haven't decided, then the Pirates. I can win or lose with everyone else, but when I play the Pirates I always win.

I like the Cybernetics, but the University is the old school. For some reason the cybers love me when I'm the university but Zarkhov hates me when i'm the cybers. I dunno

Yeah, the first time on the toughest level (Transzendent or sth., got a German version) I played Believers, also for the first time. I wanted to watch the ai turning me into toast, but although not performing too well, I won in the end. However, I enjoy Morgan the most. Hive is next on my list.

The believers are NOT weak! Their extra support allows you to have plenty of units early in the game, when you really need them. Get 2 more support, and then you can support UP TO BASE SIZE! Then just crush 'em.

If anything, the Morganites are the weakest. The most capitalistic faction should be much stronger, since the -2 pop limit really hurts. +1 economy is not enough, but I think +2 is too powerful. If you can get to the "wealth" option and stay relatively strong, you can get the free market benefit without horrible police and planet.

I just never make it that far...

Morgan as the potential to become the most powerful if given time to develop, indeed in multiplayer games with my brother I am horrified when he chooses Morgan and I'm too far away to invade early.

The A.I is pathetic using Morgan and in essence builds bases simply for someone like Mirriam to take.

The only thing bad about them is the late game worm-shenanigans you have to deal with.

I'd have to say The Peacekeepers are my favorite. I usually play a peaceful builder type, so they suit my style the best.

I havent played Crossfire though, so I dont know anything about those factions.

Hey, I just joined and was the 100th vote. Uni all the way. However, my left brain says the Cyborgs are objectively superior later in the game. Meanwhile my right brain has warm fuzzies for Morgan (Yin) and Yang.

Gaians on easy because of mindworm capture. Other than that, i'll just choose Morganites, because the idea of cornering the whole market is awesome!
