Yes, but in the rare occasion you might require extra storage space (I don't know, maybe you're a food runner or something?), you've got the shelf space there at your hip! I imagine it could also be used ala greenhouse effect for keeping large groups of people warm, though whether that's from the dress or their own dirty minds is up to your imagination.
