Like
Gustavus - easy to get along with, advantageous to DoF with him
Monty - he is just fun, and never much of a threat
Darius - consistent and reliable

Dislike
Catherine and Hiawatha - and for the same reason. Their early over-expansion not only is annoying, it cripples them and turns them into punching bags.

Dido and Elizabeth - backstabbing & untrustworthy. Dido gets a bonus negative for her annoying animation. The interpretative dances she is always doing suggests she belongs on a theater stage, not on the world's stage.

I like Monty. He likes to surround my borders at some point, never attack, and then get backdoored by someone else. Usually France. He is always incompetent and sometimes in creative ways.

Shaka is also pretty funny. 5 turns after I meet him he tries to get me to go to war against someone with him. If I'm playing continents and get the unmet player's capital has been taken alert, I assume it's Shaka.

Russia will declare war on me every game. If she goes wide enough and gets a religion I find her to be tough.

I get tired of looking at the Williams shorts.

Or The Huns. :D "Harald: I came, I saw, I meet the Huns, I died."

Russia will declare war on me every game. If she goes wide enough and gets a religion I find her to be tough.

She can be tough I agree, but she's not even close to tough like she was in GnK when she spammed dozens of cities. Now I often find her doing nothing and getting pushed around by other more aggressive\spammy civs. :( but dunno, I found her to be trusted ally once you finally sign a friendship with her. She will never backstab, she'll let you know she's mad at you few turns before she attacks. :D You got to say, there's some honor among AIs.

Love
Harald - Usually a friendly guy that deals with any difficulties like the viking he is. Even when defeated, he'll clearly respect you. He has backstabbed me a few times, but more often than not he's either a loyal friend or worthy enemy to me.

Haile - This guy signs more research agreements with me than anyone else. As long as I keep my nose out of his business, he tends to be a great ally to have.

Suleiman - This guy looks as friendly as he has always been to me.

Like
Attila - He either goes super-aggressive right away and gets wiped out, or stays around as a punching bag. He somehow always ends up with a ton of luxury resources, and once you befriend this guy he seems to be extremely loyal. Can't help but feel bad for him when he sits there apparently drunk in his court with technologically advanced enemies on his doorsteps.

Shaka - Can be dangerous as we all know, but this guy is so hilariously easy to bribe that he's like a sort of attack dog. Need someone slowed down or wiped out? Throw Shaka some GPT and resources and he'll go to war with them whenever you want.

Catherine - she has a pretty dress! But she also seems to be a little bit bipolar. Some games she'll constantly backstab everyone and end up destroyed by the resident warmonger of the game, and others she will be loyal from ancient era into the information era. I kind of enjoy her sneaky ways, makes it more tense to befriend her.

Dislike
Boudicca - Basically Isabella Light when it comes to religion, and the biggest flip-flop ever when it comes to DOFs and crankiness. I do enjoy her leader screen/animations though.

Rammy - He'll denounce and attack people for territory, but if you even dare to launch an attack on that guy who puts a city right next to you then he'll act as if you're an evil supervillain with a plot to blow up the world. Massive hypocrite with a side dish of CS stealing.

Genghis Khan - Tries to pretend he's another friendly warmongery Attila, but this guy usually manages to avoid being reduced to a punching bag. Constantly taunts you if you have half a pointy stick less than him. Will give him that he can be loyal when playing a warmonger though.

Hate
Elizabeth - NO, I would not like a trade agreement with England. No one has backstabbed me more than this woman, so I've learned to just keep away from her diplomatically whenever possible. And I can't get over how she asks you every single turn if you want to trade that one luxury she doesn't have.

Isabella - Whenever I get a start suited for some religion use, she pops up. Usually on the other continent where every single city/CS has been converted to her catholic religion by the time I make it over there, and then she realizes there's an entire continent left to spread her religion to. Also becomes "guarded" if you as much as sneeze in the general direction of another civ.

Dido - Backstabber, and shows up in 3/4 games I play for some twisted reason. Always sits on the other side of the map denouncing me for seemingly no reason, before launching a war that she wants to peace deal out of before her navy even makes it to my borders.

Absolutely hate Alex. Couples CS hogging with spy led coups in all my local city states, then DOW's me same turn forcing me to defend multiple fronts. In my current game he seems to be exempt from the normal rules - settling 3 tiles from Casablanca on top of my lux & iron

Hate him

Fav:
Catherine: When she likes me, I practically swoon.

Theodora: I once offered her three cities if she could NOT look at her nails for five seconds - I kept the cities.

Pacal: When he stands in the right way, he provides nice shade.

Atilla: He looks like cowboy Bob but all liquored up.

Sidon: Anyone who can stand in front of a burning city for that long deserves some credit

NOT Favorites

Darius: Why does he always talk about Venezuela?

Alex: He thinks he's kewl with that horse and breezy smile - come out of the closet already, it's a new millennium

Elizabeth: She's like a creepy Aunt that won't die.

Actually, that's allowed since it's a different landmass. There's no limit on separate continents.

Ah I didn't know that, I'll be a bit more careful next time. It's still a cheeky manoeuvre though, typical of the kind of stuff Alex pulls in my games. Everyone else seems pleasant by comparison!

Alexander: you annoy me to no end. You're cocky from the moment we meet, and then hate me the rest of the game. If I can't destroy you outright, you'll be the first to feel my nuclear weapons

Elizabeth: why so rude?? We've never been friendly.

Enrico: eating my CSs and denouncing me only hastens your demise.

Pedro: I will not vote for you. Not trustworthy at all.

Oda Nobunaga: one of the biggest threats in the game.

Catherine: why don't you just give up??

Hallie: your hipocritical warmongering gets old after your first three wars.

Gandhi: way too nice for your own good, and denounce for the smallest things.

Shaka: your existence is futile.

Rameses: isolationist until World Congress. Total wonder hog.

Suleiman: sometimes a backstabber, sometimes a great ally.

Napoleon: I love your straightforwardness and reasonableness. Plus that you're friendly with warmongers :D

Genghis Kahn: very loyal ally. Love warmongering with ya :goodjob:

Bismarck: never played against you (always AS you), but I'm sure you're a worthy opponent :mischief:

Like
Kamehameha - ICS aside, he is the nicest guy in the roster in terms of personality. I want to become bros with him.
Gustavus Adolphus - surprisingly friendly, which is a huge bonus given Sweden's UA.
Boudicca - a reasonable leader, not a silly follower but isn't a major backstabber either.
Shaka - well.....he is straight-forward, that's all that matters :D

Dislike
Augustus Ceasar - I HATE him. Maybe his AI doesn't do stupid things, but his face, voice and animations all scream "I`m an entitled elitist and I`ll do whatever I want....sorry, did you say something?". His hobby to denounce you just makes things worse. August is the only leader I`ll eliminate any day not out of threat, but out of annoying personality.
Gandhi - the punching bag for other civs. Making friends with him will only bring you trouble.
Enrico Dandolo - the leader whose deceptiveness is so huge that I will not even include Atilla or Monty in this list.
Theodora - her line where she proposes a trade with you is annoying for me. And apparently for a good reason - this line breaks Greek grammar rules with almost every world.
I could mention Isabella here, but she usually gets tossed around by all other civs in the game, so I don't suffer from her long enough for this list.

Like:
Kame (friendly, loyal and so non-aggressive to a fault... feel free to neglect troops if he is your only neighbor... as long as you make sure you have room to expand  going wide means he does not wonderhog as much as other peaceful civs)

Harald (his AI sucks and guarantees an easy game for you if he is your neighbor  )

Enrico (fast expansion? nah... take your time and get some wonders)

Gustav (let's be friends! as long as you are not his immediate neighbor...)

HATES:
Shaka (game ruiner no matter what the outcome)
Alex (another game ruiner)
Suleiman (This guy is pure evil! Not a single game I've seen has he been trustworthy)

Like ------
Catherine (Russia) - We get along pretty well in most games.
Washington (US) - He is a loser. So I usually never have problems with him
William (Netherlands) - We are always friends for some reason. He never attacked me.

Neutral -------
Pedro II (Brazil) - I hate when he is dominating the Tourism boards and we are not even in the Industrial Era. But he usually is not aggressive. He builds too many cities though.
Suleiman (Ottoman) - Sometimes he is a headache. Sometimes an angel.
Harun Al-Rashid (Arabia) - Never attacked me. Ever. But he always denounces me and shows as guarded.

Hate -------
Ramses (Egypt) - I hate him. Hate. Hate. Hate. I always take Thebes in every game he is in.
Harold Bluetooth (Denmark) - Always attacks me. Always loses. He DoW me even when we have a DoF. Always.
Elizabeth (England) - She never trades anything. Never open borders. Never let's me do anything useful and just takes space. She is always allied with my worst enemies.
Maria I (Portugal) - The worst of all. Never allies with me. Denounces me for no reason, never trades anything at any time and usually goes tall very fast. I tend to crush her once she becomes a problem with the world congress proposals (always the opposite of what I want).

Ethiopia - I absolutely despise Ethiopia. Hallie always gets on my nerves. Even in one of the few games I was his friend (which is hard to do, because he's such a friggin prick), he sent a Great Prophet over to convert my capital! He's like an annoying little brother that will constantly prod at you in any way he can (religion, city states, ect.) safe in the knowledge that he's defended from you doing anything. (Until I genocide his people, which happens every time I see him now.)

England - Once met Elizabeth and she denounced me on TURN 3 and went Hostile. I don't play with any mods, this was just a game with BNW. I had just met her, and that was enough to tick her off.

Shoshone - No. No more annoying expansionist culture spam. I haven't seen these folks in a while, and it will be too soon when I do.

Favourite: Enrico Dandolo. Can't expand and get it my way and always seems friendly.
Least: Dido. Backstabbing biatch who never fails to attack me.

STRONG LIKE, COULD BE FRIENDS IRL:
- Montezuma of the Aztecs. Again, there very well could be some war, but it'll be fun and he won't hold a grudge forever. We can be friends again after the war's over.

- Gustavus Adolfus of Sweden. If you attack, I at least know why, and you won't instantly begrudge me a little warmongering of my own. You get it. We can be bros.

LOVE/HATE, IT'S COMPLICATED ON FACEBOOK:
- Dido of Carthage. Very mixed bag here, sometimes useful or sometimes not. I like how I'm never sure how well she's going to do.

- Shaka of the Zulus. There's gonna be war, but at least he makes it entertaining. Also good for going in joint wars on.

- Alexander of Greece. Yeah, you're a jerk, but you're a jerk after my own heart. You attack when it makes sense to, you actively try and contest city-states, and generally make for good competition. Hell, you're even pretty cool about it if and when I beat you.

STRONGLY DISLIKE:
- Elizabeth of England. I'd get it if you backstabbed, denounced, or declared war on me for a reason, but you never do. All you ever do is suck. I've never seen you leave the bottom two or three in a game. It might have something to do with being a total ice queen and having no friends ever.

- Ramkhamhaeng of Siam. You bloody hypocrite. I hate seeing your face on the map, because I know if I ever get involved in a war (even if I didn't start it!), build a wonder, befriend a city-state, or vote against your nonsensical world congress motions, you're going to found the I Hate GoStu club and be its lifelong president. In the meantime, you'll happily try and grind the world into dirt with your trademarked Obnoxiously Strong Elephant (tm).

- Haille Selassie of Ethiopia. You know I wasn't joking when I said "Don't convert my Cities." No, you shouldn't get offended when I make a polite request to stop, and you really shouldn't be surprised when I start capturing your Great Prophets as they sail into my lands after I ignore you. Maybe if you spent all that Faith on the Faith Buildings your religion always hogs instead, your empire would be better. Or perhaps you could buy other types of Great People! Consider it sometime after I've trounced your empire and left it in ruins.

- Pocatello of the Shoshone. You know, it's bad enough when anyone forward settles, but it's really bad when their city blobs up three other cities worth of my territory. And when I see you responding to my invading army with a wave of Settlers, it really annoys me too.

DESPISE FROM THE BLACKEST PIT OF MY JADED SPITEFUL HEART:
- Screw you, Hiawatha.

Is there a mod to see those numbers next to the modifiers or is there a setting for that?

EDIT: Oh, uhm, apologies. I suppose I must add my own cents to the topic at hand.

Love:
Pedro: I declared war against your friend and you follow a different ideology, yet you seemed perfectly understandable towards my actions and agreed to prolong our Declaration of Friendship. "Accidentally" voted him for World Leader and lost the game.

Hate:
Egypt: Dumb bard and a moron. If he doesn't have his coward sissy fallback of AI privilege bonuses, his IQ becomes negative 8 and he fails miserably. Has the gall to call my army a joke when I have the strongest army in the world.
Hiawatha: You REALLY need that one tile snow island surrounded by ice, don't you. You need an intervention. Fast.
Ramkhamhaeng: I want to throw a car at you and glue a stupid wig on top of your stupid head and paint a mustasche on your babyface. There is one thing I can't stand, and that's hypocrites.

Hey, yeah, I use Enhanced Game Interface and Falcon Diplomacy. One of them gives you options of having numerical value next to diplo lines. Not sure which one does it tho, but here are the links to both of them: (both found here on CivFanatics)

Also, updated to my Love\Hate list:

Love:

Pedro - Reasonable guy, offers RA and deals good trades. Bit of a Wonder hog, he seems to get every ancient Wonder there is, which displeases Ramses. :D If he's next to you, you'll probably be safe, I've rarely ever seen him declare war on me or other civs.

Pocatello - good guy, reasonable, usually stays neutral and doesn't care much for outside politics. Can be annoying when he drops his cities that soak up half of the territory (usually picking up your own titles), but that can be easily prevented by playing little "I block your settler with my units" game.

Attila - still love this guy, along with Shaka. Like the other guy said, they are like mad attack dogs that are easily bribed. Attila is ALWAYS friendly with me, I've rarely ever seen him being hostile or even guarded. Surprisingly, he will stay loyal if you DoF him, and won't backstab.

Shaka will be your personal "go get that guy" unless two of you are next to each other and he has no more space to expend. Then, it's fight to the death, mostly.

Hate:

Maria I of Portugal. - ughhhh, cranky old woman. She starts to get mad at me when I don't give her deal she wants (!?), when I refuse to give her my 4000 gold she wants because and when I ask her nicely to stop converting my cities with her Great Prophets.

Oda of Japan - for some reason, he likes to drop his cities next to everyone's boarders and will attack often, but most of the time, he'll get stuck in Renaissance while other civs are in Modern era. I have rarely seen him do anything useful and is usually wiped out by other civs.

Still Hate:

Elizabeth - why? Well because it's fun to hate Elizabeth. :D When she brings her settler from the other side of the map (world) and drops her city right next to mine, then ask me not to settle near me and gets cranky for it, I tell her to get lost and decide it's time for her to be my punching bag. Other civs are always willing to ally you on that, since she always denounces pretty much everyone on the map and is always public enemy number 1.

Neutral:

Washington of America - he likes to take up space by over-expending, but it rarely successful in anything he does. As tech guy, he's a joke, as cultural buff he's worthless and as warmonger he is clueless. He can't even conquer Venice and gets pushed around by Askia and Isabella. That says a lot.

Still I don't mind him that much, because he is usually loyal ally unless you do heavy warmongering. He also seems to respect you opinions when you tell him not to expand next to you or convert your cities (alto, he rarely has religion of his own. Waiting for Spain, huh? )

Greece - ruins the game. Deity + Hellenic league means if he does not die early, you are screwed.

Zulu - hilarious, how I give him 3gpt to war with half the world.

Ottoman - is an DOWing ass every single game. Usually drags another AI to war you as well.

Siam - biggest hypocrite in the game. Hate seeing this guy nearly as much as Greece.

America - just fails all the time.

Denmark - just like the US, fails constantly unless always at war.

Aztecs - will declare war on me a few times, but always fails. Strangely, he makes a good ally.

Mongolia - a real threat in war, but easy to bribe away. Bad finisher because everyone hates him by the end, and will gang up on him.

Spain - she is so cute and angry :O

Carthage - always a good mate.

Brazil - I have never seen them do well at anything. Always dies.
