I'll have to post another one of these when every last sphere is flushed out and perfect. It'll be a longer list, but pretty intersting none-the-less.

you know the new mana system makes it much harder to build the towner of mastry... your not allowed to change mana so im guessing thats going to be 1 less victory im going to try to get :(

Hold a sec- is Air even a spell sphere yet?

And why hasn't anyone chosen Law? It's probably my second or third choice.

Stole the list from Kael's Spell list. Not all the spheres are yet represented, but i think every sphere on the list here has at least one spell attributed to it.

But can they dance?

P.s. How cool would it be to have an "irresistable dance" spell? What sphere would/should it be in? What would it do?

Two words: Chaos Beasts.
Edit: one of my words was wrong... I meant Pit Beasts!!

Oh, how I giggle malevolently when I finally get summoning! Come, me pretties, come--and stay! hahahahahaha

Oh, and I like water too. Just for spring, though. Choas has good first level adept and second level summoning t'boot.

target creature gains the dancing promotion-
for 1 turn, the unit-
cannot cast spells, gains the effects of blitz +1 movement and shreading(everytime this creature hits, it deals 25% more damage)

gains the exhausted promotion next turn(cannot attack, -1 movement,mp points can go to 0)

Ew, your dancing is dangerous. But i like.

I meant more like the D&D hiddeous laughter, only dancing. I was thinking something like "Target gains +3 Movement, cannot attack, and must move full alotment of squares" I imagine the ai bouncing it around.

Ah, that would explain the metric ton of tigers I had to face in one game. I kept thinking there was no way he could have captured that many... though I did once I got a couple of rangers to the front (I think the count was like 150 or so).

Guess who doesn't really dabble in other spell spheres?

Hehe, my first game of FfH ver II, I more or less randomly picked the Amurites. So I got an early introduction ot a lot of the tier-1 and -2 stuff. :)

I think it was that game, I had a stack with a couple Rangers next to an AI stack, also with some Rangers. First a pair, then an ever-increasing number (and ever-dwindling STR) Tigers started bouncing back between stacks. And once a TIger is killed/captured, it no longer cvounts against your summoning cap, so your Nature mage can caonjure another one. I think we had like five 0.2 STR tigers to dispose of once we managed to kill the AI Ranger.

I always bring at least double Medic2+CureDisease priests with the stack for this reason. (And because of AI beelining Typhoid Mary.) That is when I like those "positive" spell spheres.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping to see in 0.15, some Death and Life magic going toe-to-toe with one another. :)

I do agree the ability to Cure Disease is mucho desireable!

Chaos Beasts = Chaos Marauders?

What a fun game that was, Chaos Marauders. Design Team, your influences are showing. :D

No, Chaos Beasts = Pit Beasts!

mildly off topic,
Oh, QES, did you read Basium's story yet?

No, wheres it at? Link please. And Chaos Beasts DO sound too much like Chaos Mauraders. Mayhaps "Beast of Chaos" would be better, simply to not confuse :P.

The real name is Pit Beast, it just got confuzzled in my head.
The story is the leader--> Basium entry in the cvilopedia in game.

I'll check it out next opportunity.

I like Body with its spells who change soldiers in killing machine...
I like Chaos with Rage and the random Mutation (very funny)
I like Death with the Lich and the Contagion
I like Earth cause Tremor is fun, Transmutation very useful in some case and Earthquake... well... apocalyptic :D
I like Enchantement because it boost soldiers
I like Entropy for the Balor and the fallout (I love raid my ennemy, don't take cities but let a waste land behind me :D)
I like Fire... Meteor, of course
I like Law for Valor and Unyelding Order
I like Life for the divine spells
I like Mind for Inspiration (one city = one adept :D)
I like Nature, cause Druids are the king of terraformation
I like Spirit for Hope (with Inspiration, this is... mmm... tasty :)) and Valor is useful to get shoes in barbarian dragon skin :D
I like Water for Spring, and although I never test them, for Tsunami and Kraken (the worst nightmare of Lanun, so I think they are their best friends too :))

Damn, I like all sphere, I can't choose only one :/
As usual, my choice depend of the map, the civilisation, the opponents, the style of game, the hour of the night, the position of the moon and the petroleum price.

So my favorite is Dimensional.
