Favourite High Performance Brand of Gaming PCs!

I'm on the market for a high end gaming PC. Right now, I've narrowed my search down to Voodoo (based out of my own city, so no shipping costs), Falcon NW, and Alienware.

Who would you pick?

Well, I have only heard good things about alienware. But personally I do not like the look of their cases.

I always build my own systems so I cannot give you any first hand experience though.

Alienware is good from what i've heard (a friend that is about to buy)

I would build it myself from parts i'd buy.

Or upgrade my current computer.

Voodoo and Alienware are both very good choices. Alienware tends to be more inexpensive, so that is a benefit. Also, alienware tends to use parts that are easilly upgraded and/or replaced (meaning that you don't have to get your parts from them, you can go to compusa or another computer store).

Though, as others have suggested, there is nothing better than bulding your own, that way you'll know exactly what it has in it, and what it's capable of.

Yes building my own is another option. It saves me about $500 US and I get to pick out my own case. I suppose I could tweak it myself.

I like mine with the traditional shape, but a little bit of a "Future Tech Look" as I like to call it. Mine is like the one below, but I have some blue neon lights inside the window, with glowing cooling fans. The red LED display for POST codes on my motherboard gives a nice contrast.

Yep, that's a nice case. I hate Alienware's cases.
