If anyone at Firaxis sees this please can you include it in the next patch for all us laptop users!
I've not seen it done before, but Dungeon Siege II has a low battery warning that pops up in the lower right of the screen when you're running out of power.
I'm really really would like the same thing in CIV4 that way I can at least go and find a power source or save my game at an appropriate point rather than have the thing hibernate on me all the time!

Running the .exe at 'high' process priority seems to eat the battery a lot quicker, even with no sounds.
