Female Celebrities and Supermodels. Are they really that hot?

IS the attractiveness of female celebrites and supermodels overrated?

Am I the only one who thinks the attractiveness of female celebrities and supermodels is overrated? I'm talking about people like Pamala Anderson, Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, girls on magizine covers, and so on.


I think their not really that hot, they all look very generic and normal and have nothing special to hook you. Or at least that's what I think. Also I know people say everybody looks best in their twentys and sometimes early thirties, but honestly I'm a lot more attracted to girls my own age.

Note: Think in genral terms. My examples are nothing more than examples.
 
Sorry, Aniston is super hot. I buy the overrated bit for Pamala though.

Its got to be a case-by-case basis.
 
Jessica Simpson and Pamela, no. Jennifer Aniston is pretty attractive.

Overall, I agree with you. Most celebs are too coated in Maybelline to be even remotely attractive.
 
I am firmly convinced that Pammy is an android. Most of the supermodels are sticks.
 
Of course they're over-rated, but they're still quite hot.

Comparison: The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin are the three most over-rated bands ever. They're awesome, but still way over-rated.
 
I think the average not-so-emaciated female is hotter.

They dont have as big of egos either.

But thats just me. :)

I have a major preference for darker skinned girls anyways, so I dont find any of them attractive either.
 
I prefer girls I actually get to see face to face over some fantasy woman I'm never going to meet anyways.
 
Take away the tones of paint and plastic and they ain't special. Agalena Jolie is not good looking if you take the time to actualy at her.

Some are, some aren't. Certainly before all the makeup and airbrushing they are far less attractive than many women I've known personally over the years.
 
They are very overrated.

I like "plain" girls better. I practically fell in love with a bespectacled nerdy girl. She didn't want anything of it (I now understand fully why and don't blame her).
 
Well, yes many are hot many are less hot. Are we talking specific celebritys or generalitys?
