  • Recruitment Office Building 4VP (v 3)
  • Ski Resort Building 4VP (v 1.1)

I played your Building recently.
My thought:
I think it gives too much Tourism too easely. Moutain becomes very valuable. Also, at a point of the game every Civs produce Mulle Wine (in some map). What the point?
You may find a way to make the access of this Building more restrictive... IMO

If you enjoy Building modding, I suggest you a collaboration Code/Art with me to make a Big Wheel building. Something like a happiness maker, restricted by number of Populations...

I adjusted the bonuses for the ski resort compared to the zoo which generates a lot more tourism. But actually it makes an additional tourist building in the game which can be seen as an imbalance for VP. I played a lot of games without a city near a mountain, never without forest or jungle.
For the mulled Wine, do not find out what the point? :) Initially, I wanted to add a bonus of happiness but I found that more funny. It's not a monoplole luxury resource, it does not hurt anyone if the wine flows afloat (but as for placement near a mountain, is rarely the case)

I played a lot of games without any civ being able to build a ski resort but no problem to nerfed them if you consider it too powerful. Why not +2 :tourism: and +2 :c5culture: ?
To make the building more restrictive without lua, I do not see? Do you have any ideas ?

My first mod, so I'd love some feedback on how balanced it is. Probably isn't currently...

Also I was wondering if there was some sort of API/reference for what VP adds for modders? I did a little modding for base civ 5 (didn't finish the mod) but there are a lot of things that VP adds to make it easier for modders, and I was wondering how I could find out what was added. So far I've just been looking through other mods hoping they use it or looking through the Github.

Yeah, I thought it might be a bit to strong but wasn't sure, thanks for the feedback. I removed the Gold boost to the other buildings and the poverty reduction.

I suggest to all of you to install Parks for Vox Populi (v 2) and tell us if all is good with it.

It will be integrated in Few More Buildings pack for VP in few days weeks anyways.

There's no need to break open doors if the code is ready to use :)

By the way, awesome design, awesome picture and the most original building so far in this topic deserving 1st place.
My 2nd place is Polar Station and 3rd - Casino.

It would be good to have it in one big pack instead of separate modmods. Maybe you should create github repository with all those buildings merged together in one mod? Easy to edit, easy to build new version if some small changes are made. And it does not create a mess in mods folder with bunch of small separate mods.

Now it's time for some early era building.

I well aware about the (little) mess when a lot of small separate mods are in our Mod folder. But the goal of this Few More building pack is not to add as much buildings as possible to VP.
I suggest instead to pick only the buildings that meet your needs (Playstyle, Challenge, Scenario...)
This Few More Buildings for VP thread is open to all modders and to all new Buildings. Even if several of them have a similar effect. This is why you have to understand what and why you load a building or an other.

Now it's time for some early era building.
