...Finding thorough, up to date documentation is killin' me.

I'm not just asking for a handout, seriously. I've been trying my best to do my FFH homework, patching together stuff from here, faq's, and the Wiki page. I've been trying to cobble something together myself from all of that and from the 2.025 Civilopedia.

But since FFH is always a work in progress, a moving target, and docs are a low priority anyway, it's been driving me bats.

Can anyone steer me to the latest and greatest, most complete explanation of the current FFH incarnation? I'd really love to print out a reference guide that more or less faithfully follows the current Civilopedia.

It's become quite a chore to map out promotion paths, spell availability, and the best tech/building paths for this or that civ.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Up to date documentation cannot exist on a game that is still in heavy and fast development. You can learn much from reading the forum, the wiki and the pedia or by trying.
Once Shadow is ready I'm sure there will be more consistency to allow for documentation. And of course after Ice it will be in. So patience. ;)

lol JD, that's what I was thinking last YEAR when I first played this mod. I was hoping against hope that there was something I hadn't stumbled across out there now.

Silverkiss is right. Just gotta lump it.

This really is the Best Mod Ever. As I've posted in other places, I've enjoyed FFH more than many a game I've paid good money for...

The wiki is reasonably accurate, and if you find something that is incorrect, you can always change it. That's one reason the wiki is so well-suited to the difficult task of keeping documentation up to date in a constantly changing game.

That's true Roger, Wiki's the closest there is to complete, but there are still big gaps that I'm unable to fill.

Also, I find myself wanting to print it all out, and put the tables and charts into a sortable excel format. I've started to convert it a couple of times, into a sort of hardcopy "FFH reference guide". I'd love to graph out things like promotion and upgrade paths for the units. But it's just too big a task to be worth the time and effort, especially when it's liable to be out of date in again in weeks or months anyway.

BTW, that shrubbery you made for the King to give to the knights was pretty nice, even if they didn't appreciate it.
