Ffh Nes Ii

great- glad to have you aboard. tell you what... once they start meeting NPC factions, why don't you send me some ideas for what you think they would do??? that way you get to have some input in the game and i don't have to manage an 8th faction.

Spoiler :
Spend your starting gold either in part or fully. It may be wise to retain some so as to invest in improvements or units that may be uncovered from your initial research efforts
a new city costs 110 gold (don’t forget to build roads to your new city
you may buy research points directly. Until much later when the appropriate technologies and civics are discovred, this is the only time you will be able to do so. Each research point costs 3 gold. Early technologies cost approximately 25 research points (some more, some less). State what research path you wish the points spent in.
You may buy population directly by paying for the requisite food. One food costs 1 gold. To grow your capital to size 5 from size four would require 25 gold. To grow a new city from size 1 to size two would cost 4 gold. Got it?

Cassiel The Merchant Prince, Tordai the Inspired (from the Wiki:))

Cassiel was an Angle and he had a dream. It was a dream of the future and he felt a burning desire to take all chances to make this come true. He felt it is his duty to reduce the Gods’ work on humans. He rebelled from his old master and suffered a great loss, but he continued and found a tribe of Gregori…

He focused on his dream and infused the tribesmen on realizing the dream with him. He placed images of great markets suffused with money and smells of exotic goods. He placed images of great battles to be won by the blade. Images of love, life and their future, they shall not worship gods who are strict but better this world before going aling to the next. The Gregori who saw and believed in this future swore allegiance to Cassiel. However, after being inspired by him, he left, known only by faith and by wise men sent who has seen the Angle Cassiel…

Tordai was the first to be Inspired. He led the tribe after forming the Mark of Cassiel using only his belief in the future. He settled Tordai Yithi, or the Central Place of Tordai, and he fought a small battle with the local Unthi tribes. He won the battle and died, leaving a prospering city protected by a wooden wall he built and full of Artisans and Farmers.

They traded with the Herthi of the Peninsula and became friends with the one who settled Renth Yithi, Central Place of Renth. Renth was the first Unthi, and the fifth Inspired, it was he who settled on a new land and pacified the local Unthi. It is relatively new and the Lake there, from with the Gregori Ancestral home, was named M’ren Gregori, Lake of Gregori. The coasts are in minor allegiance and the city was a port for those waters.

The King is Rewno the Inspired and he united the two races. Together, as the Gregori, he said that Cassiel and his word shall live to the future.

Slightly Out of Character.
Any suggestions? Inspired are essensially those who heard Cassiel's word (OOC: Me :p) and act upon it. (Great People in civ. :p)

IC: Tordai is at the Fork, Renth is at the coast north of that Coniferous forest.

I'm moving my starting location to R22 assuming it's not already taken, if it is I'll go somewhere else. (42 and 41 respectively)

Charles Li is playing and claimed position 42 (and 40)
Merciary claimed position 22 but he may move yet. We'll wait to see if he wants to keep it or not.

Charles Li: thats really great. But: I am not sure exactly where Renth Yithi is. Do you mean the decidious forest? Do you mean on the western seas or the central lake or the eastern seas?

Good story by the way and i like your spending pattern. Your people got some interesting techs and should prove pretty fertile.

Like Puc in Fushia God nes?

Renth is in the Inner Sea where that river connects to it. It is just north of the small Conifer Grove.

Thanks!

And I bet you know I am going to assimilate the Herthi huh? to get my Harbor City.

The sheim, amurites and grigori have all be awarded technologies. Once i post the update, i'll send you your stats with your technologies listed.

Charles:
by stating your purchase of a peasant militia unit openly i've added it to your public military.

Everyone:
posting your orders and builds openly saves your opponents cash and time on spying.

OOC: Bannor, me, Guy at 32 and 22 occupy this continant. This will be close. Changing my colonization for next turn.

Bannor will most likely war ALOT or, if not, become disgustingly rich in trade.

Actually I'm going to change to 35, a much better terrain for the Hippus, Thomas I think we should work out an expansion agreement. I'll make a story and orders tomorrow.

So where would the Amurites like to draw the line?

That's fine with me, I look forward to good relationships in the future.

Merciary claimed position 22 but he may move yet. We'll wait to see if he wants to keep it or not.

I believe I claimed 42 first.

And Jopa, I definately claimed 22 first :p

But I would prefer 42.

Ok, I guess that means I'm out unless Immaculate is willing to add a slot for a new player (please?):mischief:.

Anyways if I can't get a spot here maybe one will be open in Ekolite's FFH nes once it opens. @Ekolite - I realize your nes will be a sequel but will you be allowing new players as well?

EkoNES will be a sequel in the same way that FFHNES II is a sequel, and therefore I will probably allow some new players, but I will offer first refusal to players and mods of the last two. I will try to save you a place but you'll need to get in there fast, and you'll have to have a decent knowledge of the FFH world.

To The Sheaim:
From The Second Glorious Empire of Bannor

We have been through Hell and back, crushing your masters and toys at every turn. I will warn you but once, we are distrustful of your black ways, and should you attempt to summon or deal with Agares we will have no choice but to respond immediately, with aggression. I will not have my people threatened by the thought of Hell again. I will not allow it. You have been warned.

Ekolite, post #16

Can I reserve the Bannor and region 26 for now? The rest will come soon.

Tyrs, post #42:

Sheaim, capital in 19, Bair Lacuna will be on peak of that rise in the center of the island.

(name your second city please)

Charles Li post #43:

Gregori
Province 42. Fork in the River as a trading post will be my Capital.

OrangeLex44

Anyway, I'll rock the boat a bit. I'll take the Sidar, on territory 10. I'll put the town on the upper part of the southern river/inlet.

Ekolite post #75

I'm moving my starting location to R22 assuming it's not already taken, if it is I'll go somewhere else. (42 and 41 respectively)

Merciary Post #90

The Jopa Post #92
Then I take 22, as Ljosalfarl. When is the deadline for orders?

Ekolite post #96
I believe I claimed 42 first.

And Jopa, I definately claimed 22 first :p

But I would prefer 42.

Ekolite: Choose a starting province and confirm it in the thread. The next one you say is where your people are. You can't have 42 but you can have 22. If you take 22, then Jopa has to settle somewhere else.

I've updated post #3 with starting locations.
If i got anyone's position (or other information wrong) please post or PM.

I didn't spend all your cash on researh after all 'cause your income is quite low at this phase and if you spend it all right away without a way of making money you won't be able to buy any of your new technological toys.
I can change this if you wish but i get the feeling that your orders to "Set all gold into Technology" were a bit quick.
