To All.

Of the three, empires of the north.

Only one attempts to end with honor.

A war that can devastate Erebus

and have it torn

They are the Amur, wielders of magic.

The Amur, wielders of mind.

Wether they keep their word is for Amur to decide.

The small paper bird flitted effortlessly over the hills and through the forests. Though wind buffeted it about, and rain poured around it, it remained indemn, carrying the words of General Caswa to the Grigori Diplomats. Runes glowed about it, protecting the vital message inscribed inside.
The Message winged delicately over the camp of the orcs, who pointed up in wonder, over I-ro-kee hunting bands, who tried to shoot it down, and into the tent of Yagus Gavin, who looked up in surprise. As his guards ran in, Yagus waved them aside.
The letter letter unfolded itself from the bird and reshuffled into a mouth, from which issued the voice of General Caswa. The Guards snarled, but Yagus merely smiled and listened.
“Friend Yagus. It is agreed. Negotiations for peace will take place in the I-Ro-Kee village five days before the end of the month. I will be there. Make sure you are.”
“You are agreed? Only two guards on each side. The I-ro-kee will mediate, and protect.” Yagus spoke to the floating paper mouth.
“Yes.”

The I-ro-kee camp was lit by the gaze of Lugus on the day planned. General Caswa was there before dawn, sitting calmly and writing on a role of paper. As the Grigori delegation approached, she folded the paper and put it in the small pouch at her side. The Grigori delegation caught a glimpse of the schematics of a large building with the image of the open tome, the symbole of Oghma enscribed on the front.
She smiled at them, and waited for Yagus to be seated.
“So,” she said. “Peace. I wish it, you wish it. The question for you is how much?”
“You wish for peace? Weren’t you the one who attacked first?”
General Caswa smiled again “Yes, but I’ve had a change of heart. I’ve found faith. My lady Oghma appeared to me in a dream, and, where, before I sought power, now I seek knowledge.
“What are your terms, then?” Yagus barked.
“Terms? We have none, merely requests.”
“No… No terms? That’s an unexpected surprise!” for the first time, Yagus smiled.
“It is, isn’t it?” General Caswa leant forward. “We ask of the Grigori only that we open a trade route as soon as the Amurite have something to trade. Additionally, we request the permission to send archeologists to work on the Patrian ruins in your territory, and to benefit from the Knowledge discovered there.”
Yagus stuttered “That’s it? I… I…. haha… the Grigori accept! Is that really it?”
“In the name of peace? Yes. However, in the name of friendship, we ask for a loan of Gold to fund the construction of a great library. This loan will be repaid as soon as possible, and will be on interest.”
“we can spare some, and, in the name of friendship, are willing to give it.”
“Then we are done here!”

OOC: I'm sorry but this is a complete lie. Have you read any of my PM's? If you had you would know that teh Bannor are the nation most committed to peace out of the northen alliance.

I don't have AIM, but feel free to answer my numerous PMs.

Throughout the World, small paper birds flitted into all the cities and settlements, and unfolded themselves and posted themselves on hundreds of thousands of walls around the world:

@ THOMAS: so awesome!!!

That is SO cool!

Hbar, I wouldn't hold your breath. Charles Li has a habbit of completely ignoring all PM's sent to him.

EDIT: That poster is really good thomas, although I've always assumed General Caswa was a man for some reason.

I don't, I save it in word and want to sleep it over to think about it.

I used to send extremely bad diplomacy, of which I think the bannor instigated originally.

Stole the Demon from TEH interwebs11!!!11 (i would have drawn one of my own, but i had to go to work, so, i stole it... right... it's true! :mischief:)

IC:

Yeah, so, a reward to any who slays the demon and brings back proof, be they independent parties or adventurers, or State sponsored groups.

I think i've caught up on the NPC diplomacy and OOC questions. If you have an outstanding issue i have not addressed please remind me because right now i think i got them all.

Immac.

Damn- i am so stupid.
Yes, orders are due sunday. If you get them in saturday night early sunday i can probably have the update done by sunday night otherwise it will probably be tuesday because monday is busy for me.

Two notes:

counter-recon: don't forget that you can use your scouts/hunters as counter-recon (one of you have already done this). If you give me no recon orders but tell me where your scouts are stationed (within your territory) it counts as counter-recon.

NPC nations: Are they too tough? want me to downgrade them a bit?

Immac.

Hmmm.... Maybe a little, but they shouldn't exist for no other reason then to be conquered by a player. They should be strong enough to defend theselves from your average invasioon, but probably shouldn't actively try to invade another player, except as part of an arrangement with another player.

When can we expect an update?

If i get all updates by Sunday AM then probably Sunday PM.
if i don't then probably tuesday PM (small chance of monday PM).

I have 3 sets of orders.

preview is this:
only 2 random events, both minor, one good and one bad...
so most of the headlines will be what you make happen yourselves.
