I'm not. If I were in LDi's position, I'd try to do the same thing... he's dead anyway, why not try it? Of course, I'm an agent of Chaos to begin with, so...
Seriously, I do think that you guys over there have created the problem for your own selves, and furthermore, you've been rather uncreative in trying to fix it. You all assumed the ritual was the best and only way to fix the issue, which I don't think is so. No one's made a great effort at trying to use other methods, with the exception of LDi (who's not even a nation). I mean, I thought about it for like five minutes and came up with a good half-dozen alternative ideas, and a bunch of them don't even involve anything to do with my own special relationship with Death. Like I said before, I'm willing to come in as a consultant...
Well, it made a lot fo sense for Tuan to act that way. His goal was to kill all the Hippus, Amurites and Bannor, and that was the easiest way to achieve it. I didn't expect him to succeed.Honest to God I am amazed that anyone was stupid enough to attack the Ritual >.<
So, it makes sense. Now could you guess it? I think you could. Tuan had been sighted in Amurite lands when the Spear vanished, so it should have been obvious he had stolen it after a few updates, when he finally became known. Zombies appeared in Hippus lands BEFORE the hungry dead should have arrived there, when the Ir-O-Kee were not yet destroyed. The update didn't say it was the zombie infection, but that it might. I don't know whether scouting would have revealed that those killed by zombies were different from the other undead, but Hippus bent on defending their lands rather than getting rid of the Clan would have found out about Tuan's evil intents earlier. Also, all of you knew I had two zombie units in the middle of the continent. I had been talking about how vile the Bannor were everytime I spoke, so you might have thought that I would either try to defend these zombies or use them to attack someone. Only the Hippus seemed to have prepared some defense. Had I turned upon the Bannor, the result would have been worse for them than what happened. Charles also didn't send orders in time on previous turn. Immac may have been harsh with him, but it didn't help, and he had been generally quite passive.I have an idea that might upset some players... but then...
(...)
Please note I expect him to be killed by the players after a few updates.

From there on, Tuan the undead will try to retrieve the Patrian spear and to kill all of Caswa's line and generally try to get revenge from Amurites, Hippus nad Bannor. He's likely to return the spear to the Grigori, but that's not sure.
Tuan is a bit demented. He's been shocked beyond belief by the allies' treason, and was heavily wounded in addition. He became monomaniac with vengeance in mind, and learning dark arts didn't make things better. Somewhere in his deranged mind, h eknows he can't destroy three nations by himself, but he will try. He knows he will lose, but will try to do as much harm as possible in the meantime.
/STORY
This character may be a bit extreme. He's also somewhat secretive, or at least has been so for fifty years or more. He's definitely anti amurite, which may be a balance issue, but he will also strike at Hippus and Bannor indiscriminately.(...)
Tried. Failed.-try to enchant the dead zombies with the spirits of the owners of the bodies (not tried)
and howOk, lets make a compendium of possilbe anti-zombie solutions
-Make a expensive ritual to get rid of zombies (failed)
no one has archery yet-Firebows, aim for the head (not tried)
no one has spirit mana yet (this was brought up to Immac)-try to enchant the dead zombies with the spirits of the owners of the bodies (not tried)
tried that, but without the mana or the techs, nothing really happened. Also, I would bet that the starving scholars at the tomb were praying pretty damn fervently, and they still starved.-Pray to Junil, Sirona, and Succellus (Kind of)
See: Update 15, The Demise of the Ir-O-Kee and Update 14, The defense of Grigori lands-Lure them into the forests and set fire on it (not tried)
Need a lot of rocks, and no one has arrows yet (not to mention they are impervious to harm except to the brain, and archers don't have that stopping power-Lure them into a valley and pile rocks on them/spray them with arrows (not tried)
you may be on to something here...-Hire shotgun nuns (not tried)
Eko got pretty mad when thomas.b brought back Sabel instead of her (his?) lackeys...-Bring back spirits of Sabel, Labyrinth, or other anti-evil hippies
