FfH2 0.14 Bugs

That means you installed the patch. Not the full 0.15.

I downloaded the full version yesterday and was playing last night. I guess it is possible that I was really only playing 0.14. This morning I downloaded the patch.

I deleted the 2.015 folder. Downloaded the full 2.015 FfHII. Then I did the patch right after. Same pink leader window and red bubble units.

I've deleted to folder again. And am now waiting to just do the main file.

Hmm.. thats weird. The pink areas means that the art is missing (the art isnt included in the patches, which is why people that just apply the patch usually see a lot of pink).

It almost sounds like the full download (200 meg) isnt being installed in the same place as the patch (2 meg).

Ahh... I bet it has something with me trying to move the mod folder to the \documents\... path from one of the other threads. I copied it over to there. So it could be something with that.

C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\Fall from Heaven 2 015
So now from the readme.rtf:
Fall from Heaven 2
Version 0.15

I opened FfHII from the 2.15 mod folder shortcut and still had the pink leader window and red bubble units.

hmmm... I didn't expect that.

Kael-the-wise... Once again solves my problem. Sure enough. I didn't delete the patched mod folder from the \mydocuments\mygames path. Now that I only have the mod folder in the program files path it works just fine.

Thanks!

When we were playing multiplayer a week ago, only 4 players (IIRC) could join a game in the normal way - the 5th couldn't get in. We got the 5th (deathling) in by makign the 5th player AI and having Deathling join after the first turn (taking over the AI).

Rather annoying bug! - I assume it is still there in 0.15.

Nope, we tried twice (or more) without one player and once with AI replacing the missing player for 1 turn.
