FfH2 0.21 Bug Thread


i'm not sure why the flurry would be on top, unless it was no longer within the boat

Its probably hidden nationality wonkiness.
 
I have a Cultist, I gave him Body II, which should allow burning blood, but (well I wouldn't be reporting it here if it worked, so obviously) he does not have it...

I was thinking- I would have played Civ4 for a month or 2 and put it away. But with this AWESOME mod, here I am 6 months later STILL addicted :D I can never say it enough- thanks for the AWESOME mod!

I am playing as the Malakim in 21f and so far I have not seen a single fireball appear from my citadel of light which has been attacked by Tasunke 5 times now. the civlopedia states that you will get a fireball whenever an enemy appears within 2 hexes of said Citadel.
 
I have an issue not sure if it is a bug...it probably isn't. But, multiplayer games work fine IP but I cannot see them on gamespy even with the same patch. I think it may be the installation directory I use. I do not have admin priviledges on the comp I play on but Civ provides a folder for each account so it is loaded on my profile in my civ folders in mods directory...not sure if that would cause the problem. Is there any info you need from me to be able to tell why it causes this issue...Civ4 works fine on gamespy just FFH2 when I try to play it multi through gs. Thanks, in advance.

It's not uncommon for me to get my own (cargo-ed) units on top of boats. One case is when a unit levels up within the boat (most usually with arcane units) - they become active. Another case is when I specifically select a (cargo-ed) unit to check its combat odds against an enemy unit on land.

The unit will still move with your boat and clicking Fortify will settle them back down - the same as saying, "Don't make me pull this thing over."

Hyborem is never spawned with a city. He is spawned with 2 settlers that are able to found cities.

Well, I was unaware of that, but in any case the fact remains that there were no locations to found a city.

EDIT: Would not a solution be to either create a new, larger map size (not sure if you can do that) or to simply increase the size of map size 'Huge'?
 
Perhaps they should change it so you can build cities in rival territory (causing war, of course) like it was in Civ III.

Did you add extra civs to your map?
 
I was playing with 14 AIs and my brother, so there were sixteen civilizations overall.

Thats why you didnt have any room for Hyborem. Its cool if you want to add more civs that the default for the map size, but dont be surprised when Hyborem doesnt work well.
