FfH2 0.21 Bug Thread

On the topic of order and AV:
I also had a nice bug( altough in 0.20).
I founded Order, OO and AV in my capitol (Yes the game wasnt really fair because i tried out a few things & gave myself a overpowered starting position).
BUild the 3 holy city wonders.
Summoned Hyborem and switched.
Crashed my old civ.
->The holy City of Order disappeared but the code of junil was still there.

No, but acting like a douche bag usually works... :rolleyes:

Well, I guess you get yours answered frequently...because obviously you missed the levity. Or sadly, you can't read all that well. If you notice I made the opening statement knowing it wouldn't be missed, then said it is possible it <my OP> was missed. Then stated I appreciated the work being done...then asked if my particular question should be asked elsewhere. But, thanks for trying.

It just got missed dude. There's only a few moderators and often several pages can churn through before a thread is checked. However, be polite and you're significantly more likely to be heard. Instead of whinging, just keep repeating your question until someone hears it (or make a new thread).

FFH doesn't work with the traditional civ multiplayer, as far as I know. People either use direct IP, or lan through hamachi.

go to this thread: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=182252

That'll explain how to set up a hamachi network so you can play FFH online.

Thank You, wasn't being impolite just knew the opening line would catch attention. And, I certainly wasn't whining...hard to catch tone in print though. But, thanks for your help.

Just tested out the removing religions with priests. I gave myself a ritualist in one of my cities and founded a temple there. The Order dissappeared and the Ashen Veil took its place. My question is why The Order remained in Keelyn's city even after she founded the Ashen Veil holy city in that city with The Order? How is the holy city not overpowering and removing The Order? Now I have to debate with myself whether or not to raze the city because The Order did NOT disappear.

Because probably none thought about it and since the mechanics are very different there needs to be code written for it. I assume Kael will fix it...
why can't you use inquisition, or a priest to found the temple (which might still remove the Order) ?

Because that is not my city and I cannot get open borders with the AI who owns the city because she hates me.

nps bro, sorry to sound condescending.

My, my, you do ramble...

Easy guys, we'll have to let Alexis have her way with the whole lot of you. Of course, you might like that. :D

Interesting... I noticed Hyborem building the Code of Junil in one of his (Ashen Veil) cities. He must have captured the Order holy city, wiped the Order from the city, but it still remained the holy city.

I'm not sure what a satisfactory solution to this would be. Maybe he should automatically raze the Order holy city if he captures it?

this is the one time i've ever seen the ai be truely inefficient(since i looked)
wasting two full commerce...
*the ai govenor is on
*no other priorities are set
*the bug persists even while not building the worker
could be a vanilla bug but idk what's causing it

thats probobly because the ai prioritizes tiles with bigger stacks of yeilds

using the ones in black but not circled nets an extra +2 gold,
and it's doing it because... using those have less symbols?

Interesting... the Elohim recaptured this city, and...

The Order holy city symbol reappears.

Units which I understand to be undead (vampires) are contracting disease/contagion from that spell, after they've infected the city. Also I'm not sure if this is a bug/cosmetic or just a general oversite those lines, but shouldn't Typhoid Mary also be immune to such things?

Are these WAD or just oversites?

Vampires aren't undead in FfH - this is in the FAQ.
As for Mary, I'm not sure.

The Shrine of Sirona is only healing 15% of my units' HP, not 20%

Hmm, it's really odd since I can see this in the code
Code:
            <Type>SPELL_SIRONAS_TOUCH</Type>
.
.
.
            <SpellFlavors>
                <SpellFlavor>
                    <SpellType>SPELLTYPE_HEAL_BUFF</SpellType>
                    <iSpellType>20</iSpellType>
                </SpellFlavor>
            </SpellFlavors>

However, I've checked the math every time I've used it. Let me know if you want a saved game. I'm on the most recent patch, the game was started on patch "d".

Yes; Sirona's Touch only heals 15 HP (out of a maximum of 100 HP). The XML you quote above has to do with how the AI views this spell (not with the HP that this spell heals).

If you're noting something that states that Sirona's Touch (or Shrine of Sirona) heals 20 HP, that's a textual defect.

When you mouse over the Sirona button to heal your unit, it says 20%
