Playing against someone who loves going hyborem, then getting eidolons and beasts of agares and steam rolling everything. Any tips on how to kill those 2 units? I play mostly calabim.

Kill him early (moroi)?
Build an uber stack of vampires and butcher them beneath the tide?
It would help to have a little more info on what sort of maps you play on, what mod, what settings and any other players/ai.

Playing FFH2 with Naval AI. Currently Im Calabim, he is Hyborem, with a stack of Eidolons and Beasts of Agares. I DO have 13 STR Paladins, but they still have a veeery small chance of winning.

And Beasts heal after killing them and have an advantage versus them (according to the wiki). So why are you using them???
Tech to feudalism, adopt MS and then draft(/build - I can't remember if drafting was closed in MNAI) out a dozen vampires. Feast them up, switch every node to death, and then run over them with high strength E5 spectres.
Is this a specific game (in which case, pictures/save) or many games (in which case, give normal research orders, general map settings and so forth).

Hyborem is supposed to be hard to defeat bro.

Research Way of the Wise and get the undead hunting promotions to help.

Go for the Mercurians too as they will be a large help in fighting him. Try to get allies if there are AI in your game to team up on him and pin him down.

- Don't build Morois or any regular units (but build vampires when you have them), but build Cavalery. In FFH2 cavalery are far better than infantery because they have movement 3 (not 1), and cannot be countered by anti cavalery unit.

- Raze cityes when army are not stationned inside, which occurs often, and witch is not hard to do if you have cavalery (movement 3).

No, build moroi and then take advantage of burning blood when needed. That puts them as good as cav, except stronger and requiring less tech (because you are investing in that line for vamps anyway). And vamps trump everything so focus on feudalism ASAP, and then on taking and holding mana nodes to power up spectres.

taking and holding mana nodes to power up spectres.

Not a good plan against demons and undead, which is what Hyborem will be fielding. Spectres with no death mana buffs can still be useful to soften up units, skeletons less so because they'll only be 2 strength.

To answer the OP, Beasts and Eidelons are both demons, and a significant portion of their strength is Unholy. Other demons are immune to Unholy damage, but they'll suffer the same loss of unholy strength when fighting Hyborem's demons. A better idea is probably to take Demon Slaying promotions on your units. Demons can't be hasted, so Vampires should have a mobility advantage. If you burn enough of his cities, he can't support a big demon army any more.

Switch to the Rune of Kilmorph religion and build Paramanders.
They start with the Demon Slaying Promotion for +25% vs. Demons.
Both units start off as a 7 base Str.
Hyborem's have +2 Unholy Str.
Paramanders have their +25%. So they are a close counter unit.
Are you Decius who is Neutral?
He won't have a problem getting that religion.

Your Paladins will of course work better.
Paramanders are cheaper and are almost equal, better when defending cities.
