ok I've been playing FFH2 for a few days and I can't wait for WH to have Necromancy working and Heros made for Lahmia or whoever is going to have Necrarch Vamps and a Zombie Dragon as 1 hero choice. hopefully each Civ gets 2 heros then 1 for religion for 3 tottal because Vampire counts without a Vampire Hero is crazy and anyone that can make a Necrarch Vampire that can't make a Zombie Dragon is crazy. (and Tomb Kings have nether Zombie Dragon or Vampires) I think for Vampires there should be 6 Hero s ! of each Bloodline Vamp and 1 Zombie Dragon and just set it where they only can make 2 of the 6. (the Vampire counts compete over which 2 they want. if Tomb Kings don't have the same religon then Zombie Dragon can be religon hero and Vampire Counts fight for 1-2 of 5 Vampire hero s)

if you toned down Zombie Dragon I suppose it could be a limited Beast but it realy can hold it's own 1 on 1 with another Dragon+ some posably.
 
I think we're planning to try to finish up several of the other factions before moving on to the undead.
So, might be a while yet.

And heroes will take even longer.

I've looked a bit to this hero stuff, it should be no problem to implement in XML really
 
Yeah, but equipment, abilities, design for every faction and art will take more work.

yep, it will be fairly straight forward but time consuming to implement. the hardest part will be making each hero unique.
 
Keep in mind that you don't need that much difference for hero uniqueness; keep in mind that FFH has a ton of different heroes which all feel fairly unique, but most of them have no special abilities at all, and are basically just a glorified archer, crossbowman, horseman, champion, etc.

So, making heroes have a piece of equipment and a single ability would be plenty.
