Hello all, This is my first Post, although im a long time reader of this great forum.

I have a simple question. Maybe it has just been the luck of the draw but after the last patch I have yet to play a game with any of the fictional wonders included in them ( such as fountain of youth )

I think i'm in the minority here but i actually enjoyed them! even if I wasn't the player who had them.

I looked through the patch noted quickly and didn't see anything. If anyone knows if they have been removed that would be helpful. I usually play on large or huge maps.

I too haven't seen the Fountain of Youth in a long time. I don't have the Spain DLC either, but I do remember playing a game with the Fountain when it was first released.

They're still there; yesterday I saw El Dorado on a map and FoY a few days ago. They're just rare--as they should be.

Well if they are still there thats good. I agree that they should be rare, just wanted to know that there is a chance that my intrepid explorers have the chance to find them!

I've heard the idea that they make sense because they'll represent the quest to find these things throughout history. Most of the time, they'll not be in the game (our world is one of those situations). But they do have to sometimes appear or else people won't bother to look for them.

I think they may have made them extremly rare. In my last 5 games, I finally saw the Fountain of youth
