how do you find your posts now adays, guys, since the search isnt working? cause i cant find any of my posts :\

I expect to turn search back on within 2 weeks. You may want to wait a little.

You can see a black dot in the middle of the thread icon if you have posted in that thread.

That may at least give you an idea of where some of your posts are.

That's good (assuming the server can handle it). What's important about two weeks, though? Is something going to happen, or are you just making sure there are two weeks or so of no server troubles?

Possibly by then a new version of vB would be out or Telefragg has fixed something.

Well, I think I may have worked it out.

TF appoints a whole lot of new moderators, then makes the search function moderator-only.

Obviously, the new mods have been appointed so taht they can run searches at the whim of the mere mortals.



Either that, or the search is being integrated with the google engine. I like the former better.
