Awesome! We are targeting Feburary 16th and our release date for the first version of "Fire".

Hence my love of Kael and team for introducing Lightning as an element to be reckoned with.
As I see it, Weather is nigh impossible to implement - however this is not to say that certain spells could not emulate weather at its worst? What would a huricane look like in civ? I do only hope that at it's center would be a small 8-bit figure with a top hat, umbrella and monocle.

I'll be your bad neighbor woodelf.
I'll come over, asking for sugar, spill it on your couch - flip through your television channels (without your premission, while you were trying to record a program you like) - then I'll root through your medicine cabinet and steal your nacho cheese doritos while singing in your shower - mind you, I'll use your bathrobe and towel.
I promise to sing loudly.

Hyborem most likely won't be your immediate neighbor unless you found the Veil and in that case once you open Pandora's Box you get what you deserve.
I think we need more bad neighbors personally.
Those that give a damage type will be + str rather than +%. with 5 str and no promotions, +1 is equal to +20%; with full combat, at 10 str +1 is equal to +20%. I think it will balance out okay.most promotions given through magic will give +str or what?
My point is, I might want to play Sheiam with Ashen Veil. So either I have to wait till someone founds Ashen Veil (and no one that doesn't want to be the Infernals is going to want to, unless its an AI thats too stupid to know better) or do it and deal with Hyborem raping my empire, like I said. The Ashen Veil is one of the weaker religions, there isnt that much incentive to found it if you want to stick with the civ you started with.
Personally, if I was doing pretty poorly, I might welcome the chance to re-start in the middle of the gameKael said:Either way Hyborem gets the Ashen Veil in all of his cities automatically and, if he is AI controlled, has good relations with fellow Ashen Veil civs.

I'd rather just be able to turn it off.
QES - Here I am, rock you like a hurricane.
If there is a hurricane spell, that should be the civopedia entry![]()
I was also expecting fire in march at earliest. I like all new things so far, I think my computer wouldn't handle 2 maps anyway.
Here's a bad idea--start as Elohim. Found the veil. Switch to Infernals. Turn on the Elohim. Realize monks kick demon butt.![]()
