Fire Tuner help

Fire tuner is forcing all research to only take 1 turn, is there a way to change the research time. Or to default it. I may have changed something so it may be my fault. I have attempted to restart a fresh game, No joy! I restarted the game I was playing without starting Fire Tuner but the research was still only taking 1 turn. So I started a fresh new game without Fire Tuner and the game runs fine, so the problem is in Fire Tuner.
Plz, Help new to Fire Tuner!
