First actually working "Borderless Windowed Fullscreen" launcher for Civ5

Are the mouse coordinates correct? I tried multiple programs for borderless windowed fullscreen and the mouse pointer coordinates where always shifted vertically - probably because the window had the title bar at the top but nothing at the bottom, thus it is "uneven" when borderless.

DX11 would be appreciated very much. No point in playing in DX9 if you can do DX11.
Have you tried mine already?
My launcher should fix said problem by updating the game's viewport after removing the window borders.
But it apparently doesn't work for everyone.

I'll be making a DX11 version once DX9 is working reliably then.
Would have gone DX11 from the beginning but it always had huge input lag until the current patch finally fixed that.
 
Had to sign up to post this, haven't actually attempted gameplay with this launcher yet, normally play with Dx11, so I'll see how I feel playing with this.

But tab speed is up and it no longer blacks my second monitor, cheers, great work!
 
Thank you for the mod. I cannot get it to detect my game window though. I have confirmed it's launching in windowed DX9 mode, but no luck.

My system is Win7 64
 
Yeah, it's pretty much dead, sorry.

I already wasn't really playing Civ 5 anymore when writing the launcher.
And there's too little interest to warrant spending 1-2 hours updating every patch.
 
That is a real shame...especially that you would have to update it every patch. I certainly would have loved this for sake of the one I play with whom cannot stand the windowed mode and also cannot stand to wait for my turns to end, lol (doesn't like to take the time to alt tab when in regular fullscreen).
 
Very dumb this option isn't even included as standard. Publishers are taking more and more features away every day until we come full circle, pong - legendary goty edition, with 0 day DLC, buy your 10% longer paddle for $20, $15 for color change, $10 for extra lives...
