[FIXED] Stealth Bombers cannot promote

Before the big patch, Stealth Bombers couldn't gain experience. Now after the patch, they can get experience but can't get promotions. This doesn't make sense considering that Jet Fighters (their fighter counterpart in the same era) and Bombers (their predecessor) BOTH can promote. In the game I'm playing, I find it ridiculous how I have to resort to my Bombers more to do effective damage to cities because of their promotions, simply because my Stealth Bomber has "40/10" experience and can't promote.

Please provide a game that began after patch 1.0.1.135 and that illustrates the Stealth Bombers don't get promotions. As you can see from this thread, Stealth Bombers were gaining experience pre-patch, but couldn't promote. It appears this wasn't fixed in the patch. We also have the issue that some players can't even build the units. Thanks!

Also in the game, I noticed that quite a few times when the AI battled each other, the AA Guns would keep shooting for like half a minute straight.... It was annoying.

Thanks for the save file. Bug confirmed. After completing a mission, a Stealth Bomber in Liverpool has 68 Experience points, but no promotions. See attached screenshot. I'll list this as a new bug in the bug list and won't merge it with the prior thread, hoping to highlight that this bug is still waiting for a fix.

I also have found the same problem with non promoting Stealth bpmbers since the patch. I also can't buy the bomber even though I have plenty of aluminum.

Same here, although at least I can build stealth bombers directly now. Before I couldn't even build stealth bombers and had to build bombers first and then upgrade them.

HOWEVER, not being able to promote stealth bombers means I STILL have to build bombers first, "train" them by letting them attack some enemies to gain at least the ability to do +25% damage against cities, and then upgrade them stealth bombers. Very annoying.

Fix it in the next patch please!

Likewise, I am still unable to promote stealth bombers; however the game I've just finished up was startedprior to the patch. I've yet to play a game where I built any, let alone advanced any since the patch.

Anyone confirmed with a new game started after the patch?

I just completed an emperor game in which I produced more than 20 Stealth Bombers. Everything looked fine at first, and I was able to promote the first couple of bombers after receiving experience.

Was able to upgrade 1'st bomber at 10/10 experience to +city attack and then upgrade again at 30/30 to additional + city attack.

Was able to upgrade next 2 bombers to +city attack at 10/10 experience.

After that, I am unable to upgrade any stealth bomber. For example, I now have a stealth bomber without any promotions but at 164/10 experience...

I am running with the latest update.
