The Elemental Atoll scenarios (see http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=27582) were done for Civ 3 v1.29f, work for that program, and don't work for Civ 3 Conquests v1.22. When I try to load the scenario (.bic file) under C3C, I get an error pop-up
Load Error
File Not Found
"#"
The Game will now exit.

I loaded the .bic file into the C3C editor, and didn't see anything funny about it, though I am far from an expert. :) I saved it under another name as a .biq file, and tried loading that scenario under C3C. Same error.

Suggestions? (I contacted the original author, who isn't now able to work on this.)

Have you tried the "Import"-function in the file menu of the editor? You can select between importing players, map and/or rules. After importing the selected content save it as a conquest file.

Yes, I imported Rules, Players, and Map, did nothing else, and saved it in the Scenarios directory. The editor complained

Warning: Some requested BIC data not found in infile,
[myfilename].biq. Partial import performed.

Same result when I tried to run C3C and load the .biq file, except that now the explanatory text about the scenario doesn't show up on the Civ3 Content screen where you choose the scenario.
