I hope this is a easy question :)

When making a new map then go into the World Builder I make the changes I want then when I exit the world is now explored. I can go back and make it either all black or explored. I just want it to be where I can remove the black with scouts, like a new game. Anyone know how to do that?

I was able to edit the map as I liked with help from Dale and the cheat code helped to expose all the items :) Thanks for that!

Thanks in advance.

Go to reveal map option, select your civ, and rather than reveal the whole map, there should be an option to cover it again.

I haven't done this, but I imagine if you cover the map and exit the builder, when it zooms to your troops they'll auto-discover the terrain around them and it'll be back to normal.

Should I exit/save the map and re-enter from new. I didnt do that. But when I exit the builder back to the game it is all explored or all black (Even black over my cities and units) I can try to save game and reload from scratch.

Thanks

Well in that case what you can do is manually do the explored terrain around your nation (I don't know how big is is)

What you want to do is center the camer over the area you know is yours, black the map so it's all black, and click the option that will let you reveal tiles one by one. then just uncover what you want explored and leave the rest black.

That's about all I can think of. Otherwise you're stuck with fog of war map.
