LoL Inter! You think I'd have chosen this bloody crappy Serie-B team (whos at the bottom of the table) if I had the opportunity to pick a serie-A one?!

Hey, another question:
does the tactical assignment "Push forward" means, like, pressing (tight marking) or an offensive stance? I'm thinking of doing a 4-4-2 based on counter attack and cross balls (got a striker with Heading 78). The midfield tactics is to support defence, but if push forward means tough marking, then I'll consider assigning them to do it.

You should do Wide Play. It works fine with Cross Balls.

Chievo Verona 1 - 4 Cittadela !!! Cittadela sink Chievo IN VERONA in five-goal feast!! I rule :king:

I don't like Wide Play, lol, in fact I didn't know what that meant until yesterday, but I'll try it out for the next friendly. Most teams play utterly offensive tactics and their players are either better or equal to mine, so I think I better try counter tactics against them. I has worked so far :goodjob: !!

btw, Can I manage more than one team at the same time??

0-0 against Willem's team so my tactics certainly create a lot of draws as thats my third in a row. On the plus side I got my highest attendance of the season.

Been off here for a while couple of results to update, 2-0 loss at Barcelona :(, went down to second on goal average. then won 2-1 away at Oviedo, gone top again 2 points over second and third.

Im still struggling a little tactically, things arent quite going as planned. Im considering going back to my 1-0 winning tactics but i want to score more goals. Keeping my offensive tactics for my next match as Im at home but then im going to change things again.

No.

You can manage another team only if it's in the Premier Games, where you have to pay.

It might be possible if you used two different internet connections so that it would be difficult to trace but there would be little point in having two teams in the same league to make favourable transfers as this ruins the game and could be spotted.

Then again it would be nice to have another team in a different free game so you can experence being a small club and a big club at the same time. of course the best players. Of course if you want to do that then maybe the Premier games are for you.

"Im considering going back to my 1-0 winning tactics but i want to score more goals"

Check out how AC Milan won last year the Champions League! They weren't a scoring machine, but they did their job. 1-0, 9-0, it's all the same, as long as you get your three points!

<< is doing well

2 games ago: 2-0 (home)
LAst game: 1-1 (away) ( vs volum)

Don't think so... Most people are in game 7 with Inter in game 11 and Shabbaman in game 4 or something :)

I'm in Game 10. ;)

Expect a new article in the paper soon, an Interview with Willem :D Thanks again!

This was an Article I wrote in the newspaper of week 2.
I forgot to post it here. Remember that now I am in week 16..

A Rejuvenated Inter

After last season's disappointing finish of 9th place, F.C. Internazionale's manager, Andy Visinoni, said that "the team needed a change, and a BIG ONE!" The result - 11 out of 16 players in the squad are new.
As a responce to this the manager said, "I saw that there was no union between the team-mates so I discussed it with the board and they agreed with me; we had to bring new players to give a new spirit to this team."
Inter Milan's fans hope that their team will at least qualify for the UEFA Cup..only time will tell..

GoMS adds, Inter's 1st match of the new season ended in a 0:0 draw. Perhaps the new players need more time to gel.

Get To Know: Laval

[This week "Get To Know" travels to Stade Lavalois of the French Second Division, whrere we get to know manager Kevin Klop]
GOMS: So, Kevin, you have been managing Laval for three years now. How do you think the team has done under your leadership?
KK: Well, the team has grown for sure, just not to what I had expected in the beginning. When I arrived at the club, some small changes needed to be made, especially on the midfield. I did not expect much that season. My goal has always been promotion, and in that perspective, the second season has been quite a disappointment. This season things are going better, but a promotion is far-fetched once again.
GOMS: With Laval heading towards their highest position, what changes do you think have led to your team reaching greater heights?
KK: First of all, individual growth. Our main man, Guillaume Deroff, has improved himself magnificently since I started here. I'm sad to report he is retiring at the end of the season. I hope we can keep him at the club in some other position. Second, transfers. Laval's midfield was....bad. The first transfer was Gary Kiely from ASBO, not the best midfielder, but fit for the job. The player that makes the team roll now is David Mowbray. He's brilliant. Quite a few teams have already enquired about him, but if he'd go, we'd have nothing left on the midfield. Combine that with two new defenders, and you have the formula. The problem however, remains on the transfer market. We are a rich club, but no one seems eager to get our money!
GOMS: You mention ASBO. Laval seem to have played several friendlies against them in the past. Is there a particular rivalry between the teams?
KK: Hmm, I'd not say it's a rivalry. It's more that I know the manager, Matthew Bradley. I must admit, though, I'm happy that Laval is, for the first time in 3 seasons, doing better than ASBO.
GOMS: As you say, ASBO are struggling this season, yet in the last game you drew 0-0 with them. Were you happy with the result or were you hoping for more?
KK: I was definitely hoping for more, but the draw is a logical consequence of our form lately. After a few good games, we seem not to be able to win anymore. It might have to do with players being tired, but our selection isn't that broad, so I do not have options. As it is, we now do not accept friendlies so as to give our players as much rest as possible.
GOMS: Finally, letting our interviewee head off on a scouting trip to watch Arsenal play, what are your plans for the future?
KK: I will finish this season, of course. What will happen after that I don't know. My contract ends this summer, and I have some offers [EXCLUSIVE!] from clubs in South America, Coritiba and Atlético Paranaense. This does not mean I'll never come back, though. I might stay, I might leave for Brazil, or I might switch to another European club. We'll see. All I can say is that I like it at Laval.
