I mean the overall rating, like from 59 to 60, not the single ratings like shooting, tackling, etc..

I think that if they imrpove enough on individual skills like shooting, their overall rating raises too.

Yes they do as the overall score is based on the individual skills. Plus several of my players have improved overall over time.

None of my players have improved their overall rating and it's been 26 weeks since the start of the season

Younger players gain more skill increases than older players, but there's a huge difference between individual players. Playing matches can increase skill as well. I've got players who improved two rating points last season. That means multiple skill level increases, yes...

If you look at a player you'll see that his rating consists of three skills. Train him specifically on those skill and eventually his rating will increase. Intensive training is key here.

It's just that I'm somewhat dissapointed with this years league position...

I feel your pain. It's time for relegation I think. I had the same the previous season with my endless streak of draws. I'm already at a 2-2-1 streak, and that doesn't promise any good for this season... I still think it's something of a tactics thing. I should be playing 3-5-2 instead of 4-3-3 I think, but I lack the midfielders. I do blame it on the RNG.

I had been looking for a good (65+) Ambidextrous MID and just when it became available, I didn't have the money...so I put in transfer one of my mids, got a good bid, I accepted, but the other manager took too long to buy the player...so another team got the MID I wanted for a less bid than I was going to offer . So I cancelled the Deal with the other manager...

But then you are in the second division so a 65 player wouldn't fit into your team very well as his rating would be much higher than the rest of the team...

It does say somewhere on the site that players should have similar ratings as then the are meant to perform better as a team...
