Nobody
:Good Evening,

Three hours ago the Roman ambassordor came to my office to inform me that all Roman trade in and out of Japantica had been ceased, Inaccordance with the recently signed "Romo-Zuluian Trade Embargo." The offical reason stated by the Roman Ambassordor was to counter recent Japantican agreeison in the Tugela delta.

This trade embargo is a insult to the Japantica and is in breach of the 66a.d. Japantican-Roman Peace accords. And in respose i request the citizens of Japanatica to declare a World Wide trade embargo against both Rome and the Zulus.

Any questions?

John Hexagan (Japanatican daily reading paper) : Mr nobody a little off topic your campaign seemed to have the momentum of a run away train, how do you explain your sucess?

Nobody: Well it has to do with my stunning good looks and the fact iam a Mafia War Load.

The crowd started all yelling fireing off questions like what about roman sherbert and am i free for dinner

Nobody: im sorry thats all i have time for.
Nobody smartly walks out of press room

Well your read that, what do you think? we can get world wide embargo for free except china wants gems and american and aztecs won't sign against zulu. They done it to us lets hit them back in the economy. Global Economic Warfare. They started it. Discuss and ill poll later

I'm not really all the concerned about the embargo. It hasn't exactly put a dent in our international trade. Besides, we're already at war with the Zulu, so I don't see how this can be considered an aggressive act. Let's let this war play out and then worry about the dire threat of a Roman-Zulu Embargo.

p.s.- I didn't know you were a War Load, Nobody. :D

I am against a Roman embargo. It is not their fault they cannot trade with us. The Zulus control the only roads to the Roman capital and are preventing our humanitarian aid from reaching Rome.

Embargos are nearly worthless. They only work if you sign it with someone that's not trading with them.

i know that there embargo has no real affect on us. but its a insult. We must show our resolve, that we are no to be messed with. what if it was china and zulu?

Had I known about this, I would've "asked" for not only Ishawanda and Mpondo, but also Intombe.

As it stands... yeah Rome is not worth sweating over, though all foreign aid proposals to Rome will be vetoed for the duration of this Embargo and all remaining Roman workers will be integrated as per my original plan.

Zulu, on the other hand... Well, a 14 GPT Peace deal should outlast the Embargo, so they shoudln't have much to trade with. Except perhaps Silks from Intombe. And Techs to the lesser nations.

also amagine the shock of haveing the whole world slap a trade embargo on you. One thing i think is dumb about civ3 (and add ons) is that a civ will never sign a embargo against as civ it is trading with. These would be the most effective trades. And we could always break the Roman=zulu embargo by wipeing out rome (just kidding)

The Roman/Zulu trade embargo isn't worth the paper its scrawled upon. What can these backward nations possibly keep from us?

I would rise above the fold on this one. If we need to make a symbolic gesture then I am fine with it it as long as no money changes hands. We should not buy an embargo against these knuckleheads just to prove a point.

DZ, the precious zulu loinclothes and Roman concubines are badly needed in the saunas of KAgemusha.

Hey Provolution, hows about getting some of the guys and goin' down to get us some Roman concubines later? New term party with some prostitues? A little "horray" with some hookers? Some straining with some strumpets? Gettin' down with a couple drabs?

Don't look at me that way! What do expect from a guy from En'Gha?

Crimso, come to the Kagemusha Casino thread for some new political satire, and of course, the Roman concubines are part of the fun.

Talk to Provo, he knows some people who know some people who can get you some roman lovin.

If we need to make a symbolic gesture then I am fine with it it as long as no money changes hands.

just some gems 1 little gem. infact they are the gems we confiscated from zulu. lol

I really don't want to give up those Gems for that, boss. We would be better off gifting those to an annoyed Civ. Oh, well....let's put it to vote and see what happens. Just don't forget to mention the cost of the embargo in the first post of the poll.
