In this thread we are going to form an imaginary government's constitution.
This is how it works:
The constitution is divided into Articles and each article deals with an aspect of the government.
1.When an article is done and the next one starts the first person to post will decide which aspect of the government we will describe next and (optionally) say a little bit about it.
2. Once the Article is started than people may post a single clause. It doesn't have to be serious so even funny/scarcastic clauses will still be put in. The clauses do not need to express your personal views.
rules for clauses:
I. Nothing inappropriate of course.
II. Don't contradict previous clauses.
3. Someone may propose to declare an article complete and I will either disagree and ask for more or declare it complete. Once I declare the article complete than the next Article will be proposed by one of you.
4. Once we are done with articles (I will decide) than we will do a "bill of rights"
5. The constitution is complete once we finish the bill of rights.
6. Optional decussion of how the government might run in real life.
Ok, go ahead and propose an article.
current constitution:
Article I - the chambers of Legislature
