Forts in forests and Promotions

In warlords forts can be built in forests and can act as a city so troops with garrison maintain their bonus inside forts.what i would know is if units maintain beyond the garrison promotions also the woodsman promotions because in this case there would be a huge defensive advantage.
Also archer who gets a +50% of bonus inside cities get also this bonus inside forts or the bonus is strictly added if they are inside a city?

I would imagine that they would stack, hill and forest defensive bonuses stack as do hill and city.
Don't know about the archer city bonus working in a fort though.

City defense bonusses should work in forts too I believe. But it's easily checked *makes note for next game*

Amen... usually I just kinda build them in deserts to keep my workers busy when there's nothing else to do. They rarely came in handy before.
