You've got to be kidding me!
This game kicks a$$. While it's not perfect (no game is) and has its bugs/problems, it's still a solid game, especially for the price tag, and remember that they're going to keep supporting it and updating/fixing things. The lag can be a problem but you might try ditching "LameSpy" and downloading a better alternative called The All-Seeing Eye, which has a simple ad-free interface and connects you to the game more quickly. Don't give up on the game just yet - it will only get better. 
to the Army for continuing to support this already good recruitment tool...I mean...game.

i was already keeping my hopes up for Americas Army 2 if there ever is one, so i havent completely lost all hope in the game. although this was less then average and, by the way,All Seeing Eye-- i wouldnt pay 10 dollars for a game i think is less then average...nuh-uh. i will only pay that for a top notch game

Well, I'd have to say you're outnumbered 'cause most of the ppl that have been playing this game enjoy it. And what do you mean pay 10 dollars? Just use it unregistered (it will have less "features" but no must-have features are left out). And it works for other games, not just AA. It certainly beats Lamespy.

I doubt they'll make a sequel anytime soon as they plan to keep supporting AA for the next four or five years. Keep in mind that the "Recon" version that's out now is kind of a bare-bones version, just so they could release it as soon as possible. I doubt they'll make any major changes to the engine but they'll definitely keep adding maps and fixing problems that need to be fixed. Eventually though, the engine will be really outdated and they'll have to make a sequel if they still want more ppl to join the Army.

Hmm , I have the same problem. I am mad, because my video card is semi-recent, allowing me to play on return to castle wolfenstein, Jedi Knight II, etc. Oh well, no wonder, it is because I have an ATI card. Nvidia payed big for this game, so its no surprise that my card doesn't work. Tsk. Tsk. Spent many hours of my life downloading that thing on a 56K modem .

The game barely even works for me, slow as **** and no scaling fer me old comp. It's quite ridiculous that you need a top-end system to get a decent frame rate.
