This is my favorite spot to play, they're site is freechess.org. My handle on there is TigreTonio. Let me know if you want to play sometime. I like anywhere from 2 minute games to 30.

I like this server better than Yahoo & the quality of discussion is much higher too.

Also they have a detailed rating system that gives you a seperate rating for blitz, lightning (under 3 minutes a game) and regular chess as well as a bunch of variants.

Oh yeah, and it's free.

The site looks interesting. Maybe I will give it a try.

My staple of Internet chess has been MSN Games, and I think playing chess there is blah, blah, blah. I have also tried Yahoo! Chess, but that isn't much better.
