These artifacts typically start to appear when there's not enough memory - Civ5 is a 32-bit software after all. Do you use any other mod adding units/graphics, etc.?

Im only ussing R.E.D, Wonder Race and Historical Religions, I also tried 43 Civ without EUI and it's better
The HW is more than enough in terms of memory, GPU and processor cores, but after your replay, I just realized that the problem could be that Im not using Windows 10 or 11, This is on a Windows Server 2022 that I use for other testings, and maybe the game and the OS are not using all the memory in the right way, Im just to used to work on that Server OS, that I simple forgoth that is not optimized for games
At least I can confirm that Windows Server 2022 works really well at Normal EUI installation, later I will prepare a Windows 10 for my CIV 5

I think now it only works with gold not hammers, so not worth the hassleEnjoying my foray into VP. I have one question: Do you still need to do the "select tiles to work and then set production focus" to gain +production on pop increase, as you always do in vanilla??
One of the questions in the initial FAQ says 'Tectonic is good too, but is way bigger, so it needs two more civs per size.' - could I ask what this means and how you do it? If I select a standard sized map on Tectonic, it will default to 8 civs and 16 city-states. Is this recommending I add another 2 to make it 10 civs? But how do I do this? I play multiplayer, and I don't have the option in a lobby to add additional civs, it seems to be capped at 8.

You can't in multiplayer lobby, the only way is to edit a .XML file to make 10 players the default number of players for standard map size.

I haven't played in several months. I installed v4.17.8 and dealt with the DX change so that my game loads in DX11 instead of DX9, but when I encounter a Leader (minimum quality), I no longer see a dialog box. I have to hit ESC to exit the screen, but of course can't communicate.
Also, if I hold the pointer over the UUs, etc, on the intro screen, I see no explanation of what they are.
Any ideas as to what could be off?

This to me sounds like a cache issue/mod not installed correctly/incompatible mod issue.
Do you play with other mods? If so can you list and check if there have been any updates for them, they might need updating.
If no to playing with other mods, can you re-install VP v4.17.8 as it seems to me it did not install correctly.
Anybody else have any ideas? I have never encountered this issue.

I think you're right. I deleted the cache, then reinstalled 4.17.8, and the problem vanished. I had just installed the update, so I assumed that at least went smoothly. I appreciate the advice.

What's the difference between Basic and Full with no-EUI? Or, what is in Vox Populi that is not in the Community Patch and Balance Overhaul?

Why naval is so weak? Battleship have range only 2 and no +range promotions for all range naval units. In the same time freaking bazooka guys have range 3!! from the "stock" like a god damn artillery (BS have same artillery btw, maybe even higher caliber). This is so rediculuos IMHO. In my first game fleet was destroyed by troops with bazooka which have more range and deal big damage even to the ships. Who balance this like that should have a look some warfare movies about role of fleet and infantry on battlefield. I dunno maybe this is in the name of some kind of balance but as a regular player i feel it wierd. Before atomic era balance in wars was feeling perfect
P.S. If i change bazooka range in mod files does the AI wil us it fine or they hardcoded to use it with range 3?

Wow, BB's used to have 3 range on promotion, if that was taken away I agree, that's completely bonkers.

Is there any way to check discovered Natural Wonders having EUI like in vanilla game?
I have been playing Civ5 with VP for about a year. Wanted to try the new version, that did not work, so now I am trying to install a previous version, using the automatic installer app to do so. The app claims that I do not have all the correct DLCs, but I have checked the list it gives and I absolutely do have all those DLCs installed. Any ideas as to how to get VP back, in any version?
