I have been playing Civ5 with VP for about a year. Wanted to try the new version, that did not work, so now I am trying to install a previous version, using the automatic installer app to do so. The app claims that I do not have all the correct DLCs, but I have checked the list it gives and I absolutely do have all those DLCs installed. Any ideas as to how to get VP back, in any version?

You could try the option to check your game files in the Steam App. It does not take long and may help, because they can repair / replace broken or missing files (at least, they say so...)
