Whats Frisbee Golf?

I played Frisbee Golf down at the park a week or so ago and it is a whole lotta fun. Unfortunetly, I ended up playing against serious competitiotrs and not only got my ass beat but lost some money too.

SunTzu: Frisbee Golf is golf with a frisbee instead of a ball. You have a "tee off" position and 200-500 yards away you have a basket. Whoever gets the frisbee in the basket in the fewest throws wins.

Sounds cool, except I would definitely loose too much money trying!

Has anyone played frisbee-baseball? Same thing as the real sport, but you can smoke the runners with the frisbee as it does not hurt that much!

Edit: But won't you have to get out of bed during the day to play, Johan? We've heard that is a problem for you...

Frisbee Golf, that's a blast from the past. I was playing frisbee golf with my mates around the parks of Melbourne 20 years ago. We didn't have baskets, we would look around a park and agree on the spot we had to reach for each 'hole'.

Sometimes we would have a challenge hole, which was optional, but if you chose to play and complete it, would lower your score by an agreed amount. The thing about a challenge hole was that it required a degree of embarassment or danger - we were young and stupid

I had to play one challenge hole naked in a public park - it was potentially going to win me the championship - and was going fine until I ran past a wedding party doing photographs, one of the bridemaids screamed which brought the police. They were going to arrest me - they didn't believe my story and thought I was a demented pervert - but fortunately my mates (eventually) showed up and confirmed that I was playing frissbee golf, so the Cops let me off with a warning.

Btw I suspect that my bare arse appeared in some of the wedding snaps - something different for the bride and groom to remember the happy day!

I just hope I have as much fun, I got my bro (mate) really pumped up about going and we've decided to try it on America's 225 Birthday this Forth....
America is going down the spiral -- but i'm going to try my best to bring it all back....
and I think a little frisbee Golf can only help the Karma here.

I just hope my Mates don't think of the challenge hole, because I'd love to have something to pull out my first time....

Just don't tell NeelaX about all of this, or she'll have me striping at the park playing some frisbee Golf....LOL

I love frisbee golf! Where I live, in Raleigh, NC we even have a 18 "hole" frisbee golf course. I go there every year, it is really fun

I also like frisbee football. Has anyone ever played frisbee football?
