With G&K out now, it would be nice to have a few games where all the toppings are served. So could it be possible to include a full DLC GotM, maybe as an alternative alongside the traditional, or as a bonus map?

Maybe play with speed too, including Epic. Marathon could be for Christmas :).

I like all my games standard speed/standard size...but yes, as one who owns all dlc, a GotM featuring everything would be wonderful.

That would be an awfully crowded map, no?

How many player's computers could handle such a game?

You will need to convince me. So far, not so much.

Unless I'm mistaken I believe he means a gotm series with the potential for any civ's not all at once. I know I definitely wouldn't mind a pachacuti gotm at some point. Considering the dlc is constantly on sale and the steam summer sale coming soon I'm pretty sure people can handle coming up with 5 dollars to purchase what dlc they haven't bought yet.

The GOTM has, traditionally, been the base game or expansion pack in order to allow anyone the opportunity who wishes to play. To create a whole series of games that include dlc would exclude any number of players. I am also unsure of the status of Mac players and what dlc are available to them.

Do we need a poll on which dlc are the most popular? That is the main issue with dlc, how many players have the civs and which are most popular? :crazyeye:

Would love to move the TSG series to all G&K, as the game is now so different, with, perhaps an occasional foray into dlc, but cannot do so until most of the players have decided to purchase G&K. That is why there was the last series of questions on the poll thread above.

Am willing to try some different things as long as the opportunity to play these games is open to the maximum number of those wishing to participate.

If you think about it, the DLCs are essentially mini-expansions.

Sorry forgot I made this thread. But yeah, I often play the GotM, and was asking if we could make a series where all DLC was assumed to be had. So not necessarily all DLC in one game, but all of it showing up in time.

It's a bit disappointing that the vanilla GotM lacks the wonders pack for example, and it would also be very nice to play using the CIV DLC. Many of the DLC Civs, are ones that cater to a specific approach, like Spain or Babylon. And as such, they would make each game become more unique.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I think 2 GOTMs would be good, one that's strickly the base expansion, and another that is expansion + one DLC.

I'm just reviving this thread. I saw that Leif did a poll on DLC, and it looks like we pretty much all have the full DLC.

So how bout it, trying out a game where DLC is included?

If you don't like me bumping, maybe conclude on your own poll Leif?
