Full screen hot corners issue.

I am playing the steam version in full screen mode, however I noticed that the game isn't actually in full screen, but rather a window that takes up all of my screen. While this normally isn't a problem, I have found that I accidentally activate hot corners a lot. Is there a way to make civ actually run full screen (or at least disable hot corner only when in civ)?

Check your video options - see attached screenshot, hope this helps. I also have a screensaver hot corner and don't have any problems with it.

My video settings are exactly like that, except for a few of the detail options. What happens when you try to activate exposé or mission control?
