that's not Drew's mine, that's monty's. Drew's still researching IW. maybe monty's being sneaky and hoping to keep it a secret that mine is his only source of iron? and of course, being monty, he's outsmarted himself and forgotten that he doesn't actually need iron to make jaguars, he just needs to know how to find iron. there's no telling with monty!

It isn't world builder, I have "lock modified assets permanently enabled" for games, so I couldn't if I tried. My explaination:- I've been at war with Monty for ages, and captured his holy city, so I have line of sight. I also physically saw this mine a while back, but monty is having MEGA huge barb problems, they are all over him. Its quite likely that the barbs pillaged this mine, and then jungle regrew over the hill.(Note all the undeveloped / unconnected tiles around his cap, Barb pillaging not mine). For some graphical glitch reason, its still showing me the mine AND the jungle. If I sent a troop down, then the mine Im sure would disappear.

Ouch, that is one horrible starting position, even if the mountain wasn't there, its still horrible.....

2 fish, clams and a cow didn't look too bad to me for Financial Wang Kon. The mountain was a bit of a disappointment though!

EDIT: The production was a bit low though... Needless to say, that was the last turn in that one.

1- The BtS scenario (Charlemagne) is actually a Great General !!

2/3- The AI is so idiot (not Roosevelt, the game is "random personalities"), it only take me 12 minutes to change is mind ( and win by conquest! )

4- Someone is watching to much Matrix...

5- why would I want to build a farm in enemy territory with an horse archer and waste 2147483647 turns ???

I've seen that before. It only lists the top 7 in those lists so if there are more than 7 civs you might not get on the list.

It would be cool if it ranked only those you knew about though. Rather than you know that 3 cultures you know nothing about are more cultured than you are.

That's the result of an irritating, and common, little glitch. The tool tip has hung from the previous turn when the pointer was over "build a farm", which then reports correctly that the tile is out of bounds and the unsuitable unit would take forever to do the job. I find that mousing over your banner (to the right of the actions menu) clears the hang-over.

you're right, that little glitch created an headache to many people, let's see if Firaxis will correct that in BtS!

this may look like a lie, but ... I installed the latest patch (2.08) right after playng that game!!! (that game's patch is 2.00 if you want to know)
