Well, it's 1943, you have marines, paratroopers, tanks perhaps, and your neighbour is building culture is cities defended by swords and axes. Will you think before you attack ?

Going for a cultural victory with only 5 cities. My captial is legendary, and the other 2 cities are very close to it. Had to make some cuts, and optics was one of them. Kept very good relations with everyone, so captured spies wouldnt help. So I never made them. Every GP I had was a GA, so they never left my land either. I was very weak and fragile, and I'm assuming that's why he declared war on me. He was pleased with me! :crazyeye:

Didn't think it would be a no-brainer for the AI to attack someone they are pleased with, even though it's an extremely weaker Civ?

Actually that is not Qin Shi Huang. That's Kublai Khan. What does Kublai Khan look like in BTS? Can anyone give me a picture of him? Just put in the top:
(For Civ4luvah)

Actually it is. Lots of leaders will still attack at pleased if they find a good enough reason, even if the probability is low. This can explains why it's late though.

nope, that's Qin. Vanilla had it wrong, they mixed up the leaderheads of Kublai and Qin, they were back in their correct place starting from warlords.

Ohh. Now I see it. But why did they mix-up the leaderheads in the game before the expansion packs?

First three are my worst starting positions ever (follow hyperlink )

1. What did I do to deserve this?
2. I thought this was a good start until I found I was blocked in.
3. No trees in the BFC, and I'm isolated?

Weird culture

4. The Arabians are guarding their outpost tile from my army of tanks
5. Why is the tile in front of Adrianople red?

All from Highlands maps, dense peaks and seas on.

Hehe, I don't know if my screenshot is funny - but at least it's beautiful ^^, so
let's have a thread-based mini-competion about screenies of great walls!... pics taken above Cloud-Level... and exactly all of the Wall has to be seen inside one screenie, reaching side to side. Impossible? Not at all, look at this :D

Played with BtS Rise of Mankind 2.0 + Rev etc. Mod Compilation, Marathon.

let me guess: Settler difficulty?

thinking of it, if you build the Great Wall and control 100% of the world, there won't be a GW !!

but if that happens, it would also quite useless to build the GW...

From a while back, another GW contender:- http://forums.civfanatics.com/showpost.php?p=4993268&postcount=1

No, achieving the wall was not easy at all - it was a monarch game.
And at the beginning hardcore barbs.

Btw. look at the screenies right side - the other civs are nearly all annoyed about me, really not easy at all.

Here's another case of, man, that looks like a dumb spot to settle. Imagine settling your capital on ice:lol:
