This is the best scenaio I have played and I can't wait to get the updates.

I have managed to download it. You say in the readme to overwrite the PEDIACONS.TXT file. But where is the original so I can overwrite it?

Ok I know i posting a lot now. I have started the sen but it crashes when I click on a unit (in the build que).

Note - in the civ editor when looking at the new units some dont have pictures.

It is saying (when I look it the civ editor at the units) that i should only have numbers for the icons up to 83 and the numbers are in the 130s.

Did you mean the pediaicons.zip file cause I've downloaded that I overwriten the previous file but it still doesn't work - when I click the unit picture it sends me back to the desktop.

The file units_32.pcx says "this is not a valid bitmap file, or format is currently not supported" when I try to download it. It appears to be tring to open it with paint. Are you sure that it shouldn't be a zip file?

hmmm thats akward because Ive installed and played this on 3 computers without any probs...Ill try to see into it more...try downloading the first version then the updates maybe that will work?

Ok, I think that it may be that units_32 file as my computer refuses to open it (it doesn't reconise pcx as a file)

Phoenix, It shuold be saved not opened (right click, save as), you can also get zulu's which I think has all the units but you will have to change the Icons in the editor.

To open PCX files you can get a program like Paint Shop Pro.

The problem is that when I have finished downloading it, paint tries to open it and then it doesn't work in the game.

Do u mean that when u start up my scenario the paint prog pops up and u cant play?

No. When I download the units it opens paint and tells me that it canno open it. I am going to try to download zulu's and see if that works - where can I find it?. By the way what unit picture number should the Rocket Soldier be - it 132 on mine.

132 is the blank slot, I currently didnt have the rocket soldiers icon so I put in a blank spot....

How come it opens paint when u try to download it? this may be a problem with your computer...
