Standard sized (100x100) map for 8 players on a single land mass. Raging barbs.
Fantasy map (as opposed to real map).
Requires Civilization III Conquests
Some maps require the modpack RAR

I designed this map so a peaceful builder approach with a large empire on only a standard map size was possible. I played multiple games from almost all starting positions and was quite content.
The central civ normally has a hard time if played by an AI.

Contains 5 versions of the same map: a blank map w/o resources, two maps with resources, a blank map for RAR and a map for RAR with resources.

- All Civs have roughly similar and fair starting positions regarding available terrain and geostrategic position. This does not necessarily apply to resources.
- Starting positions are not too similar, however, increasing replay value.
- All Civs have a subcontinent for themselves: Their empires will mostly be bordered by coast, but one to three landbridges will connect to the rest of the continent.
- Empires will be relatively easy to defend.
- Empires will have a natural shape and (minimum) size.
- There are 5 Civs with only one land bridge, 2 with two, and the central one with three.
- There are also 8 small islands near the coast of each subcontinent.
- You can found 12 to 20 cities on your subcontinent, depending how tight you pack them - if you leave at least two tiles between cities.
- There is relatively much jungle.
